Does life have meaning?

Yeah, I know, not the most original question. I have my own beliefs but, believe it or not, I am not going to run my mouth about them here. At least not yet.

Some may say it has no meaning it all. Some may say 8 billion people, 8 billion meanings. All of them right.

Some may say Random is awesome and life needs no other meaning. Ok, no one actually said that but I had to feed my narcissism in here somewhere.

So, do you think you are here for a reason or just a fluke of the universe? Does your life have meaning? Or is it all a Matrix? Are we spiritual beings having a human experience? Or an experiment by God gone wrong? Maybe just primates who crawled out of the primordial ooze to eat bugs out of each others fur and then evolved enough to build Wal-Marts but still do the same thing there?

Seems like that's a 2 part question. Does life have a meaning? Only if you find one. People do that different ways, faith, discovery, arts, need, acquisition. For me my life only has meaning while I have a purpose for being and for me that purpose is helping people.
The last part of your question seemed to slip into more of a question about the nature of existence. Are we created, whether by miracle or engineering, did we evolve through sheer chance, are we part of some great simulation or experiment. Is it design or random chance or illusion.
I find the best place for me to think about this is in the country at night. Find somewhere remote at sunset on a cloudless, moonless night. Watch as the last rays of sunlight disappear and the stars wink into being. The whole universe is up there something so vast and beautiful and horrifying. To me it feels like a dream, like we are a dream of creation. A marker to show that it was all here and for a moment in eternity to see the beauty and majesty and acknowledge it.
It's a shame so many people can live their whole lives fighting and hoarding in the earth without ever truly looking up

I think we are the universe experience itself. Like what came first the chicken or the egg? Then you realize one can't exist without the other. The purpose is simply to live. To experience the world we created and are still creating. We are all God playing hide and seek consistently forgetting and learning. I think The purpose is to live as who you are. Random does a very good job at it 😉

The evolution explanation is the egg came first before the first chicken, just it was an eg laid by some non-chicken reptile, but the egg mutated.
The bible answer is better: the chicken was first because god created a chicken that laid the first chicken egg. That sounds better.

I think the egg and chicken were created at the same time. To make the chicken able to continue to existing the thought of the egg had to happen at the same time as the thought of the chicken.

We just exist and it is up to us to decide the meanings of our own life. For me, the meanings of my life depends on how i make use of my time while i’m alive. I choose to follow a career path that require me to understand my clients point of view and how they interpret the meanings and purpose of their lives and that’s enough for me to answer that question. That it is up to each individual. You can’t rely on other people to tell you what the universal meaning of life is because there is no universal answer. For example growing up i was taught meanings of life is procreation and that make me wanna commit mass homicide. So, to each their own.

Something similar happened to me, lost my grandfather and best friend within 1 month time frame. It was so bad that I was literally feeling like I was a curse and I was the reason they died. I hope life becomes better for you, sir.

Yes life has meaning and a purpose. Each human life has a purpose. A general purpose to worship god and a personal purpose for each person, to search inside and find it. And accomplish their purpose. "decide the meanings of our own life" and use our life and time for those personal purposes.
