So my boyfriend just called me insecure because I asked him why he think it would be cool for him to stay the night at his friend’s (a girl’s) house if he needed a place to stay while he was out of town. Am I wrong for feeling upset over this?

It's not about trust, it's about respect. A couple in a relationship should establish their own boundaries that other people cannot enter. If you trust him to have a platonic friendship at another girl's house, do you trust him to have a platonic friendship sleeping in the girl's bed? Does he trust you to do the same? There have to be boundaries.
