A few months back I got my nipples pierced. And, after they healed and were able to handle physical contact again, my fiancé doesn’t give my nipples attention like he used to. It’s like he’s turned off by them now.

Furthermore, the metal or metal components in piercings can be potentially dangerous for the health because they may contain unwanted components, depending on where you had your piercings done.

Also, nipple piercings are everything but attractive and your boyfriend may not find them enticing or he is afraid to hurt you since nipples can be extremely sensitive to the touch and even more to violent mishandling.

The question is whether you had your piercings done because your were more or less coerced or "motivated" by your boyfriend to have them pierced or that you did them because you just wanted it. If you did it without being pressured by your boyfriend, then he may let you know that he disapproves your body mutilation.

That aside, have you considered... you know... asking him? How are we to read your fiancé's mind? Do you two not communicate? Let me let you in on a secret. Communication is one of three things that I consider most important in a relationship, the other being trust and respect.

You seem to not be able to ask the man you are going to marry a simple question. Do you see any issues with that? You instead are asking strangers on the internet to guess why he might feel this way.

I think you need to ask him and work on your communication with your partner. Otherwise, you are going to have a lot more problems than what you have going on right now with your nipples.

And if you're already having these issues before you marry (and worse, before you MOVE IN), it's only gonna get WORSE from here.

While I don't think MOST people are cut out to be with one person for life, I realize that people are too brainwashed from thinking this is the ONLY way to have a relationship, so at the very least, DO NOT MOVE IN TOGETHER. The moving in part seems to be what causes the most problems.

A year but only on our wedding we'll not night. I would take that as a warning sign. Not that he's intentionally being deceiving, but that his idea of how a married couple should be might be a lot different than yours.

Definitely worth a serious conversation, which I would start by asking him what the perfect married couple is like (rather than a direct confrontation-style interrogation).
