Is it nasty to date someone who is your cousin cousin?

Yesterday I went to my uncles fight party. The girl I’m talking too right now come to find out is cousins with my cousin. We aren’t related by blood. My cousin is either my 2nd or 3rd cousin. My grandfathers aunt married her grandfather. Is it acceptable to date her because we aren’t related but we do have a mutual family member

Even if You two indeed are cousins by blood, it ain’t nasty. Many infamous people, such as Albert Einstein, married their cousin (Elsa Einstein). It’s kosher. It’s allowed in the Bible and in most countries.

What is nasty is marriage between your siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, etc, as that’s incest, but no-one does that anymore.

Yes, it is fine. In UK, first cousins are able to marry. You are sufficiently away from this lass for it not to be a problem.

I'm from a tiny ass country so I don't think it's that much of a big deal. They're not your blood relatives.
