This is a little confusiong:
My dad has a brother (let's call him Carlos, i'll change all the names)
My uncle Carlos is married to Maria and they have a daughter named Julia.
So Julia is my cousin.
Maria has a sister, that has a son named Logan.
Yesterday was Julia's birthday party and i met Logan there. We had an amazing time together. He's so cute and so fun and i think he likes me too. But when i told this to my bff he was like 'BUT ISN'T THAT INCEST' and i'm so worried now, i haven't think about that till she mentioned it. He said he wanted to see me again, but now i'm afraid.
We are both 17.

Not a problem at all. You are not related in anyway. It is perfectly legal and has no icky-factor. There's especially no icky factor since you said you just met him, it isn't like you've grown up believing you are family.

Incest (which this isn't at all) is illegal because the genetics you share with those individuals are too alike to reproduce without running a high risk of serious genetic disorders in any children you have together. You are not genetically related at all. No problems. Good luck :)

Maria is related to your family by marriage. Therefore, her sister isn't your blood relative. Logan (unless his father is related to your family by blood) isn't your blood relation. It may seem a little weird to some people but you guys aren't actually related, so technically it's fine. It's only incest if you are blood related. Good luck!
