I have experienced this as well , You have an disagreement and argument with your partner , then he goes to work , while he is at work you send him loving texts to make him smile and to reassure him you still love him and you make up , but when he finally gets home from work , it’s back to treating him like he doesn’t matter to you anymore? Why do you do this? Why do you love him when he is gone but when he is home it’s like the text you sent him earlier in the day doesn’t matter anymore? What does this actually mean? When this happened to me I couldn’t wait to get home and to hold her in my arms and to kiss her but the reality of it was complete opposite of what I was expecting it to be. Please explain why you do this?

Sometimes it's because of the vibe we get the moment you get home. If you're at all coming off as tense, irritable or what have you, that will throw off our mood and make us less pleasant

I honestly would walk in the door wanting to see her and to hold and kiss her , when I actually did see her to do that she was distant and wasn’t really excited to see me leaving me with a question mark as to why she said all those sweet things to me and then all of a sudden it’s back to being irritable and negative towards me?
