Should I be concerned if my boyfriend asks another girl for her contact?

My boyfriend has a Facebook friend who is a girl, they don't chat a lot. They just text each other good night and good morning. Today I was going through his Facebook and I found their chats. My boyfriend was asking her to send him her contact and followed with a call which she missed because she was offline. The girl hasn't responded yet. Should I be concerned?

I confronted him about her and he said she's a mysterious girl and he wanted to know if it was someone who was spying on him. And now he's angry with me for spying on him.

Tou are in a committed relationship with him but he is still single according to him. This is how a lot of guys are these days. Social media and a general lack of integrity and character are to blame.

Anyway, he's already with her just waiting to dump you or put you in backup mode. He will start acting like a total ass to get you to break up with him if he's a coward or he will break up then come weasling back in with some lame texts and I miss you and hopefully you won't be a dummy and take him back when he is done with her.

Re update LOL. He is SO lining her up and is pissed because you caught him. I see your age. You cannot expect loyalty from boys your age. Divest your emotions and move on honey. He's just doing what boys do. Cut your losses. And the fact he describe her as "mysterious" means he is so intrigued by her and excited to pursue he that he doesn't even care about sparing your feelings.
Most guys get bored in a week at this age. It hurts but this is how it is.

Best thing is to drop him. Don't let him see you sweat and stop responding to him. He will see you as easy and frankly an idiot if you stand for this or take him back later. Be strong. You can do this!

To the update... clear manipulation tactic. He's playing games. It is very possible it is a mystery girl and he wanted to find out who it is. But the whole she is spying on me thing... I serious question his motivation in giving her more information as far as contact information if he thought she was "Spying" or otherwise a trolling him.

Then whole I am going to be angry with you because you should some concern... that pretty emotionally immature. I don't know you or know him... but in my personal experience when I dated someone like this it never ended well.

If was truly not interest in this person on any level, then why contact her and engage in a process with her? I mean he is in a relationship with you, so what would he have to feel the need to engage in a process with another woman that he doesn't even know?

Just ask yourself that question and explore your feelings about it.
