There are those who say that if you try to leave and they do not make an effort to make you stay, it is because that person was no longer interested in making you stay. Or if they do not look for you, it is because they do not love you or if they do things that they know you would not like. they did is because there is no love, do you think it is so?

I think I understand the question. So if someone wants to leave, then I just assume that they do not love me. I mean if they want to leave, I cannot make them stay. Love or no love, if someone want to leave, any self-respecting person will respect their choice and let them go. I am not going to beg someone to stay, after they told me they want to leave... because if they loved me they would not want to leave to begin with. And if they love and want to leave me anyway, then that is not the type of person I would want to love or deserves my love.

I can not agree that people do things they know you do not like as a test of your love for them. Thats called manipulation, and its toxic behavior. These types of people are usually lacking in some level of emotional intelligence or maturity. They usually are very toxic within relationships.

And girls do this shit like crazy. They're analyzing every little thing and weighing it on the "does he love me or not scale?"

But love is work. Love is you having values and your partner having values and you bringing those together harmoniously in your relationship.

People are so busy thinking about love as this magical mystical thing. And it is it feels amazing or can be painful.

But you have to work at love. If your partner isn't working on it too than find someone else who has values that align with yours.

If you're looking for love than search for it with intent. Go after it and be critical and do not settle.

My perspective on love— If you love something, you do everything you can to make it work. If you let the person go, you either never truly loved them OR you’ve outgrown the love (and possible toxicity). And thats okay. I see it as duty and work and about building families and communities. Maybe Japanese way. Tends to culturally shock people of some other cultures. For example, Japanese almost never say, "I love you". I have said maybe 3 times total in over 15 years with my wife.

For your questions, they don't really register to me. If someone wants to leave, they want to leave. I don't really think about love as this kind of testing way, and for me it is more one-sided. I love my wife. I do not try to measure her love towards me. She can do it if she wants. I don't try to figure out how much or how little she loves me. I am honor-bound to be at her side. She is very likely the same way but I don't question what love means if we were hypothetically trying to leave each other.
