Have you ever found it hard to move on from a hookup?

I know it’s life and things happen, feelings can change like the weather but I can’t shake this experience out of my head now that it happened.. I knew this guy growing up going to school together. I’m happy where I am now but but I’m just sad I got hurt. I guess I’m being philosophical too analyzing life and peoples behaviors and the why’s.

that be more than a hookup, bonding and trust might be implicit... and dug deep. time to do some writing and reflection, therapy, growing. It's really a question of how attached you are and emotionally connected.

I can only guess you thought more of him and in essence, it seems he didn't think much of you other than a doormat, so that feels bad... possibly false assumptions, but how it feels. I know this scenario from high school... some other kids, it impacted her. It's damaging. This why things should be done certain ways is better.

don't run your boat onto the rocks, it can do lot of damage. In the experience hopefully are valuable lessons in life to take forward.

Its just a feeling that can't be avoided sometimes , despite knowing the rules , its not your fault it happens , but not his fault either , when I was really young I had a few of these that really hurt me , not sure at the time that I understood the " terms and conditions " , then I had this other girl , she was super hot , and used to say " I had the way guys fck you and think they own you " , so with this one , I was emotionally ready , but she went total opposite and I couldn't get rid of her , I didn't want it ongoing , the body count was way too high for me.
