I would say it isn’t worth it, because the person you want him to be just isn’t who he is. If you want a man who makes you feel loved, valued, etc, then you need to find him, rather than trying to create him. If you have to nag, nag and nag, at what point do you step back and go ‘this man just doesn’t align with the qualities I seek’?
