I want to know what the most common places are that people seem to meet their partners (not hookups).
We met in our first year of middle school and we pretty much instantly became best friends but as the years went on and we got a little older I started to notice how cute he is and I developed feelings for him but I was too scared to tell him because I was afraid if I told him and he didn't feel the same way things would be weird between us anyway fast forward to our last year of high school he kinda started dropping hints that he liked me too like I was cold one time when we were on a college tour and he gave me his jacket, I was on my to science class once and he held the door to the building open for me and we were at lunch one time and he let me go ahead of him but I was oblivious and thought he was just being nice anyway we fast forward again to last summer and it's the summer before we started college and he texted me one night and asked if he could tell me a secret and I said sure and he told me he liked me and asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes and we've been together for a little over a year now

At a coffee shop. I was talking shot about his tattoos to my sister in a different language.
When we were about to leave, he said โwhat can I do to make them more appealing?โ In that language.
Years later, still together talking shit.
Discord for university students. We had the same math course. I messaged her. I think she posted she was looking for study partners. Well, we never ended up actually doing any math together.
Initially, was just texting. Then we had some calls/video-calls. This was during covid and Ontario had very strict restrictions for god knows how long. Only the next September did I see her in person. We'd meet up every once in a while at university. (Our schedules weren't aligned at all). But continued having calls and texting on a daily basis.Last December, around Christmas-time, we made it known to each other that we have romantic interest. In January, when I saw her again, it became clear that we weren't just friends.
I met my ex-partner through a friend. He wasn't a great friend, quite literally nearly killed me in fact, that's a whole story. Either way I met this girl through him that turned into a crazy 3 year rollercoaster and funnily enough, after all the hurt and everything, I'd do it all again.

I've met both of my ex-girlfriends at partial hospital programs for the mentally ill. Therapist has always told us it was not a good idea. But I never listen and afterward for me, it caused a lot of depression and took a lot of times to heal emotionally.
