But I'm gonna say something possibly divisive that I have believed for a while. So don't read or comment if you get immature very easily. I prefer serious conversation & don't like wasting time arguing with someone who puts a 50,000 ft wall up...

I believe that it usually hurts more when a woman cheats on a man vs when a man cheats on a woman. Mainly because of how both sexes approach relationships. Women usually cheat because of hypergamy & they're usually deeply emotionally invested in whoever they cheat with. And they usually only cheat on their man with a man they see as being better than their man in many aspects. However, men usually cheat because they're just horny &/or deprived of sex. He's likely not thinking of who he's cheating with as a viable replacement for his partner. He's just probably horny & he finds the person attractive.

Ofc, there's always the possibility of cheating hurting the woman more. But I'm talking about averages. And also I don't condone cheating so don't think I am simply because I'm wanting to explore more deeply into it & entertain certain possible truths.
