Wow. It really seems like most people are really opposed to answering definitely what their opinion is. Lots of maybe and on the fence and depends kind of answers. Do y'all have an opinion or just too scared to offend someone?

I feel like cheating has become part of women empowerment. There are lots of feminists who would argue that a woman cheating is her mans fault for being negligant and therefore it's to be expected. When you have a movement that is trying to normalise this behaviour and even have a lot of men buying into the explaination it seems more likley that women would cheat.

I agree 100%. But i wonder how/when did infidelity become so openly accepted? When did having a reason why become the OK standard for cheating instead of ending the relationship?

I don't know when it happened but I assume it became accepted when men bought the concept of it being their fault. Then there's a lot of men nowadays who kind of enjoy being cheated on... I think that's part of the "problem".

From the people I have known IRL, by FAR women cheat more. And apparently many women that work in education cheat from what I have overheard in their conversations at different places I have worked.

I'd say on average it's women but not due to them being worse than men or anything, it's more the situation itself, my girlfriend's mother cheats on the dad almost daily, she has a boyfriend, the dad is mostly traveling and working he also is a bit fat and looks autistic, I don't know I'd cheat on him too

It's hard to say, there's probably statistics out there but I went with 50/50. The reason being there has to be a man and a woman involved. Well that's not necessarily true. Could be two men or could be two women.

Basically, women have two different preferences, one during the majority of their periode (basically they're looking for a good father for their children and provider for themselves, someone good for them), then while at their most fertile they're attracted to good genes more than good behavior, power, wealth etc...
And they'll be more likely to be tempted to something.

I actually see both sides of this. I usually tend to date slightly older as well because of yes RESOURCES... a woman wants a man with his life semi put together ie. Job, housing, car, personal regimen for hygiene and health. Nobody wants to date someone they feel they need to babysit regardless of whether he or she wants to have their own career life or be a stay at home.
And I've dated a few Mommas boys who took every thought and decision straight to their mother who was awful to me and honestly got pleasure in being a bitch.
However, I've also seen men treat their moms like complete garbage dirt on their shoe. Expect mom to just fix all their adult problems for them cuz life is hard and then blatantly disrespect them in public like some sort of attempt at Male dominance power trip. That's rough too.
So respect your mothers yes. You only get one. But don't go so far as to cling on for any part in your relationships. And ladies should be respectful of his mother as the status they hold in his life while bowing out gracefully when mother and son are not equipped to have their own personal relationships yet. Hopefully before marraige by Odin! Lol
But if men gonna hate on women dating older for resources don't get upset when women hate on you for dating college girls for looks.
