This is a rephrasing of another question in which people seemed to have difficulty with the tern "respect"; here I used "trust" instead. I am not the author of the original question.

There are many good quality trustworthy women out there. Unfortunately, it takes wading through these individuals till you get to someone trustworthy.

That being said, you can't peg every woman as untrustworthy based on some less than trustworthy individuals you may have come across in the past. That is baggage you leave behind and is unfair to unload on someone new.

I do not trust men when I'm alone. I can't fight them off if something happens and they commonly, at least where I am and amongst my age group, try to fake friendships to get into your pants which again I'd struggle to fight off if they decide to get more physical.

It sounds bad but I'd rather hurt your feelings than risk my life or thousands of dollars for a child I don't want.

I'd say I respect men but I dont trust anyone. Which works fine. I can still have close relationships with people but I would never trust someone 100%. Depends on how to read the question I guess. Maybe a little I guess so yes?

Unfortunately kind of torn on this one. Recent experiences with the opposite sex haven't been ideal so I'll admit I'm hesitant, but generally speaking, gender isn't how I make the determination of trust.

Trust covers a huge range. In general I trust people, but of course there are limits and those limits are different depending on the person

I don’t have a blanket answer for this. It depends on the woman. I never should have trusted my ex. On the other hand, I would trust my current girlfriend with my life.
