When I was a teenager I had this group of friends online we all got along.. and there was this guy all us girls liked. He seemed a lot like me and I told him I liked him and he said he liked me too, he also said he broke up with our other friend so I was talking to him everyday.. then stuff I told him in private he told the other girl because she brought stuff up to me so I knew he must still be dating her.. I was super jealous of her at that moment because she seemed closer to him and was prettier. So I hacked them both and got her nudes and told her if she didn't break up with him I was gonna post them all over the site we hung out on.. I wasn't really going to but it was nice to hold it over her. I was making fun of her and her body. I also exposed him for talking to many other girls too. He then told me he didn't like me and I should leave her alone. So I dropped it, but they broke up and I messed everything up with all my friends. I still regret it now because she was a really nice girl but I could never atone for what I did to her, and I still know the guy and feel like I ruined his life as well. Since had they got together they might of been really happy, yet the last few girls he has dated cheated on him..
The only thing that I still feel guilty for, is treating my mother like crap in my early-mid teens, back then I was extremely mentally ill, had an undiagnosed and untreated personality disorder, and had been through a lot of assault - and inevitably, I was lashing out at my mother and taking out my frustration and sadness on her, since she was the closest person to me at all times. I know I made her cry many times. I’ve apologised over and over for the way that I’ve treated her in the past, and she understands that none of it was meant as personal attacks on her, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling guilty for it. She didn’t deserve the way that I treated her.
have you been getting treated for it?
I get that. I think of times that I was a spoiled brat and mean to my mom or friends who didn't deserve it. Some mistakes that keep me up at night.
When I was younger there was this girl online who started flirting with me from day 1 when we met through a friend and she wanted to be in a dom/sub type of relationship but I was not mature enough and didn't fully understand. I think we weren't the right fit for each other anyway but there were moments I handled badly. Thankfully it wasn't that bad for her, she was more mature I guess and we ended it in a friendly way but I'm still not happy with how I behaved.
I think it's also because I don't have a lot of moments in my life that I regret or I did something bad to someone so this stands out more. But if I could undo one thing in my life that I did it would be this situation.
That's hard to say. Because what may seem like the worst thing to me may not have been the worst thing to them.
There was a kid in school that used to bully me. One day his dad committed suicide and I thought, "well he isn't going to bully me today". I was wrong he bullied me all the same. So the next time he went to bully me I said "hey, how's your dad"? With a smile. All the blood drained from his face as he went white as a ghost. At the time I didn't feel bad about it as he bullied me daily. But in retrospect it was wrong. Regardless of whatever he did. And I was told by another person years. Down the road that comment messed with him for a while.

I still feel guilty about putting my dog to sleep too early, 15 years ago. She was sick, but when I put her down it was because I thought she was having a really bad day, when I could have waited longer, and my daughter said I could have waited until after Christmas as well. :(((
When I was a little girl, I hung around with a bad group of neighborhood girls who hated this one older teen. We wished and prayed (really) that something bad would happen to him. And something did, and he died. Guilt is what I felt then, and I still do. What was I thinking to go along with them?
Unintentionally - When we were playing football, I kicked the ball really hard, and some guy went in for the block. Except, the block was done by his private area. I have a pretty powerful kick, so I can only imagine how much it hurt. Dude couldn't walk for the whole day.
Now the thing I'm really regretting is the fact that that guy is sterile. Although, no one knows if he was sterile before the hit in the groin or not. I hope it's not me that did this to him.
Ouch!!!
Ouch indeed.
omg 💀
I made a newbie quit the martial arts club. I discovered a seemingly effective attack and while sparring the newbie, I saw the opening presented itself and my body just reacted on instinct and I went for it. He collapsed and couldn't use his leg anymore for the rest of the training. We saw him back the next week but it was for his brother who was still training. He didn't join us anymore. I feel bad for that. I did apologize and he didn't hold a grudge against me and was as kind as ever. I'm holding a grudge against myself on that one.
I regret that one... But I've done way worse to people without a single ounce of regret.
because martial arts is about honor and you feel you didn't show any when you went for that opening. also you might have helped him realize that martial arts might not necessarily be for him he may have thought that he wasn't good enough at it which may have been why he chose to quit
which explains the guilt you been having. if you want to remy the situation then simply talk to him and convince him to rejoin even offer to be his sparring partner and show him some moves or strategies that may help him in the long run
Apart from throwing tantrums, being a difficult child and sometimes being rude to my parents throughout the years…
The only person I really didn’t hurt but irritated was this boy I liked whom I stalked online and made sure he knew it was me stalking him. I should not have done that. It was okay when it was just me but my big mouth told 2-3 friends and they also got involved and the poor guy thought he was getting harassed. He doesn’t know to this day that I liked him so much and still do to this day. I saw him last month and he gave me the death stare. 😂 I wish he knew I only did what I did because I’m an idiot and was too scared to tell him I was madly in love with him. He’s the only boy who has made my heart rate increase just by being present. I can’t find the words to speak when he’s there. He makes me feel star struck.
Definitely lame, but my mom wanted to see ET and my sister and I wanted to see LILO & Stitch at the theatre. She was soooo excited and happy to take us to the theatre to see ET, but we don’t really like ET 😅
So we told our dad, and our dad told mom and her disappointment was just so heart breaking. Especially since she tried to look like she didn’t care. I felt soooo baddd.
I don't know why, but wasn’t expecting our dad to tell her like that 🥲
slept with my sister's boyfriend when I was a teenager he told me they broke up. so I thought they are not together anymore so i slept with him and then i found out he was lying they where still in a relashionship i was so nervous upset and felt like shit honestly I was like 18 i felt bad sometimes i dont think before i do things nd not think of the situation or what mite happen then after it i regret it am sure we have all done terrible things
How do I help my brother find out if his wife cheated on him?
There are others just more recent
@AmeerX cause I was wrong and it caused a big fight for them!
Me and my friends were joking arround making fun of each other so I made fun of one of them and I felt disgusted by myself I said smthg bad about him just bc everyone did it and it felt ok at the moment
But it was really wrong under no circumstances would ever make fun of anyone else even if they act like they don't mind
I did a phone scam just for fun, where I called a family, told them they're in a contest to win some good amount of money, and they tried but couldn't, begged to have more chance, and they were really very sad, poor little girl probably took the blame because they relied on her being a student, and eventually ended up thinking they could have earned something when in fact they couldn't have won anything and the whole thing was just a scam for fun.
That's so bad lol
🥺😢 If you only heard how the old man was happy.
That’s sadism。 I would regret it too had I done it.
This is not the worst thing, since I cannot think of that right now, but I absolutely suck at turning down girls and breaking up with them 😂
It's me being unintentionally mean by either saying something that easily can be misinterpreted as something bad or I will be overly blunt without realizing it. I am very awkward when it comes to that stuff, so I am terrible about it to a comical level and I've felt bad about how I've handled that stuff before, lmao.
There’s too much to tell, though most of what I feel guilty for I did when I was younger and I have strayed away from that behavior but still no excuse for my younger selfs actions. But guilt isn’t actually a bad thing at all! Guilt is what keeps us human, and with guilt it gives us empathy and more understanding of ourselves and others.
Guilt is a good thing. Proof of conscience.
I actually did it to myself... which in turn... was hurting everyone else who cared for me, although they never really faulted me for it and I do understand things much better today, I'll never be 100% past with it
I don't dwell on it though... that would be a second mistake
Literally nothing.
But I can think of bad things people have done to me... but I try to put that aside. What's the point.
I don't forget and forgive only inside my own head for my own peace, but those people are no longer in my life and never will be again.
Not proud of my fighting past. Although some of it was in self-defense, there were definitely times where I've instigated reactions for egotistical purposes in order to start a fight without having to through the first punch.
Also not proud of how I used to treat my younger siblings as a kid.
If I could take any of these things back, I absolutely would in a heartbeat.
So basically I felt a bit bullied and like I was pushed into a corner. I could see unfairness and instead of just handling it in a mature way and talking it out , I went on a rant that was a two edged sword. Basically I got all the anger, hurt that I held in for so long off my chest but the words may have been harsh and as a result the friendship has
*not been the same.
I mean I really can't think of anything and I'm racking my brain like crazy I mean if I've done anything I meant to do it it's nothing that I'm ashamed of or anything like that
Well now I'm going to have to find somebody somewhere somehow what can I do lol I'm laughing right now any ideas now I can't really think of anything if I do I guess I'll come back and add it but I can't think of anything at the moment
I don't know hitting my sister. blaming my dog for some it did not do. lie to a girl about giving her money that she may or may have not need and having her do thing for me that she may have or may have not want to do.
calling a cat over to me and then a dog came and flip it over and kill it. trying to grab my dog food when she was eating. then she past on by chocking. Not spending time with my dog why she was alive.
Just hurting people in anyway. hit someone when I was up set.
Was at a after prom party (stag). Got a little drunk. Slept with friends girlfriend. She had major crush on me. We never got caught. I felt bad in morning but they broke up later. Not bc of that. She walked in on him another girl. We ended up dating. So it worked out in long run.
I had the opportunity for a relationship, albeit a long distance one. At the time, i was still not trusting of someone I met online, even though she and I talked quite often. I wish I just accepted and tried it. I shot myself in the foot. The only woman so far that seemed genuinely interested in me, and I her.
Making an advancement on a first date with a girl when I was a youngster. She was/is a sweet girl (innocent at the time / as was I). The date was on a hayride, we were covered in blankets (it was fairly chilly) and there were of course others around us. Nothing actually happened other than her getting pretty upset with me (rightfully so). A bad choice from an inexperienced youngster who ultimately learned from that experience. The good part, I see her at class reunions and we talk, laugh and have a good time.
Went off at a friend and used her insecurities against her then blamed it on my mental illness. We didn't speak for a couple years, but I've apologised and we are friends again I am forever trying to make it up to her and earn her trust back.
When I was in kindergarten, these girls told me to lure my friend into a hole they had dug in the sandbox, and so I did. My friend unfriended me that day and I still wish I could apologize to her somehow. 🥺
In high school, I liked a girl, and I asked her to come to my house. I asked her to ride on the back of my bike. But I made a turn too sharp and awkward, and we both fell over.
I FELT LIKE SHIT!!!
That could've happened to anyone.
Playing someone’s heart.. i was in relationship with him for a year but i didn't love him at all… everything is forced and fake from my side. I would pick his call and pretend to fall asleep while im actually wide awake. And i always try to find his fault in order for him to ask for the breakup first… Eventually, as i grow, i realise thats sooooo mean.. And knowing how he feels as, well karma already hit me like a truck, so i feel bad to him.
I did not resist when my older brother's fiancée seduced me and took my virginity. He graduated a year ahead of us and was deployed overseas. She had an itch that she wanted to have scratched. I was a 19 year old college senior tired of being the only virgin on campus. I should have said "no."
I hit this big tall dude in the head with a beer mug at my friend's backyard party about 23 years ago. He thought he was big and tough and said he was going to fuck my mom. I was drunk and my mom had died 3 years before that, so I wasn't having it. I almost killed the guy. I was drunk and stupid. I should have just kicked his ass, I could have kicked pretty much anybody's ass back then.
my ex not beinh able to know that he has depression... he would ask me from time to time once in a while why do people don't kill themselves which i replied it's because it's painful. i feel like i left him alone in the dark
Well I will not get into the details of it say it in brief.
I once broke contact with a person who was really sweet, nice, kind and caring just because I disliked compliments. Yes the person here is a girl.
Holy shit ur pfp is Kai from beyblade
Yeh I loved that show, my favourite was Daichi
Not explaining to my exes daughter why him and I were breaking up. He was very ab*sive and disrespectful to me and I couldn't take it anymore. I loved her as if she was my own daughter but I couldn't explain to her why I left him.
I made peace with them.
I made peace with what I’ve done.
I no longer blame myself or regret anything.
I always try to choose being hurt over hurting someone else.
Sometimes I do that successfully, sometimes unsuccessfully. But I do try that and I try to not hurt anyone purposefully.
I cheated as a teen - broke his heart.
During boarding school, I followed along with bullying someone for 2 months before I finally spoke up.
@balyai me too - not my proudest moment and nothing I'll ever do again.
I used to be kind of promiscuous and guys would always go out with me and just use me for sex. There was one guy who acted really nice and seemed to really like me. I thought he was just playing with my feelings because guys like to do mean things to girls they think are sluts. One day I cheated on him with a bunch of his friends and it turned out he really did love me and I broke his heart.
When I was younger, I had an uncle who let us use his house on the lake. He would let us do pretty much whatever we wanted as long as we didn’t destroy the house. I had gotten a group together for a big party and we were ready to go when I asked my uncle a question and he didn’t answer back. I tried waking him up but he wouldn’t move. He just had his sunglasses on without any movement. We were moments away from the party so I improved and we went to the party bringing him along anyway. We just all acted like he was still alive the whole weekend. I feel bad about this now because he deserved better and I should’ve let the rest of the group know that he had passed away.
We did honor him by creating a new dance we learned that weekend and name it after him. So there’s always a positive.
I have no regrets that I'm living with or burdened by.
Back in the day a girl asked me if she looked fat & I said YES! I do feel bad & sometimes honesty always isn’t the best policy.
I was a bully in school.
I was big, strong and could mop the floor with anyone.
It was what we did back then, but it didn't make it right.
I have apologized to everyone that I can remember, there may have been others, but there is one left, so hopefully I will see him someday, or maybe find him on the facebook.
I broke up with my best friend for finding a new friend and third wheeling me, excluding me, pretending I didn’t exist etc for about 2 1/2 years.
i told a girlfriend that i don’t know of we can be friends after a breakup, she had asked of it was possible. We had known each other for so long and I feeling upset and maybe resentment. Sure it could have been a sexual relationship after but moving on ended up being the right call.
Not spend enough time with a loved one while they were still here
I treated my little brother like crap and got my little sister to treat him like crap too. We were so mean to him. I apologized to him for it and now I love him.
Nothing. If I do something to you, I believe you deserve it and I won't feel bad about it.
There was this security guy where i work n i complained about him to my brother exaggerating the actual issue n also said a couple false things.. n my brother fired him... it bugs me very much
I ghosted my best friend because of depression, now we are so far away from each other mentally, i can't even tell
They know.
the worst thing was tell "girl b" i wanna marry you, when "girl a" loved me and heard so she cried.
When I went with a couple of my classmates and egged one of our teachers' houses in eighth grade.
It sounds kind of stuck up, but I can't say there's any way that I've ever treated anyone that I actually regret. I tend to go out of my way to treat everybody well, and the few that I haven't were very much doing something to deserve it at the time (I don't respond well to people mistreating people I care about)
I once in college had just broke up with my ex and I personally had a hatred of women for a month (luckily that passed) and one night when at the local bar to my college I saw some college chick being hurrassed by a few men and because I was angry at women I didn't do anything and the next day found out she was sexually assaulted and it was bad, and what's even worse about it is I didn't care until a few weeks later when I shook off my anger towards women that I knew I did something wrong.
Punch a girl in the face when I was in highschool.
Besides from the stripper at my Bachelorette, I'd say the random guy while my boyfriend was in the bathroom puking at a club. I know.
Beat up a guy that caused him some permanent respiratory problems. I haven't had a fistfight with anyone since then. It has been almost 7-8 years now.
I did something bad but I'll be judged by people if i said it
Nothing too bad because I'm generally a nice guy
That's great to hear.
👍👍👍
I still feel bad for calling my ex obtuse because I was so distraught after I received that Dear John letter she typed me.
That's not something I can really talk about.
I said mean things. Life is too short for hate and mean comments. I regret it.
Cheating, giving women false hope about relationships I knew weren't possible.
Call my cousin fat after she gave birth to her second son. Honestly don't feel bad. Because she can be a person that you wouldn't even like
This guy had a crush on a girl who liked me but i didn’t even know and then he started talking shit about me
I told my roomies there was no more pizza left, then ate it!
I've never done anything bad to anyone that I regret.
