How does my will to live come back?

I've lost my enthusiasm for living I'm like the living dead I'm breathing in vain I'll be happy no matter what I do, I don't even know my personality, I don't even know who I am, I don't know what I like. I want to die how I will continue.

Readers and we truly don’t know what someone iis feeling deep inside. When I lost my mom and brother 3 months apart from each other , I felt so lost and confused and don’t know what direction to turn , I felt every emotion possible and felt like a huge part of myself was gone , Not realizing how much losing a parent and a sibling impacted me. My friends and family saw me spiraling down and advised me to get help so I went to my doctor and got prescribed an anti depressant that I feel worked wonders for me , it helped not not really stress about little things anymore. It helped me feel more content with my life , My advice to you is to get some help

Ok but the fact that you are feeling sad and depressed and no longer want to live anymore is a sign that you need some type of help , By you asking this question to me , is a cry for help , I don’t know exactly what is going on in your head or in your life? so whatever it is that is causing you to feel this way , is something you should honestly seek help for , if you clearly don’t know why you are feeling this way. instead of living a life of negative and miserable feelings, Focus on living your life happy and positive and content and joyful. Killing yourself isn’t the answer. Life is filled with ups and downs and we all go through it one way or another , when you learn to value yourself worth and realize you a beautiful person and you are loved by others and cared for by others that’s all that matters

In life some people have a lot on their plate & some people have a buffet. As for life it isn’t easy but then again it isn’t hard. sounds like you are in a depression, there really is no time frame. you def aren't alone. find something that gives you hope, digging yourself out is never easy, but its also not impossible. get to know yourself what you like, what you dont like, dumb things even like being on here asking what's your fav color or movies or music and make sure to answer with your posts, engage in the community more of us are going through it then you know for a lot of different reasons.

Do you actually want to die or don't see the point in living? They are two different things. I didn't see any value in living, but I didn't see any point in dying either. I figured that since some people loved me and nobody really actively sought to kill me I might as well live for their satisfaction. Then I got a girlfriend and now I have something I want to live for.
There was a show called The 4400 where there was a shot that would either kill you or give you random superpowers. You don't know which one. Until I got my girlfriend I thought that if that was actually available, I would take it. So if you would take the shot then you don't want to die, you just don't see a point in living or a reason to continue.
