Unless I expected him to be out of contact, like if he was on an airplane or was in a remote area, yes it would bother me if he surprisingly wasn't in contact, not really about him cheating on me as much as his safety, and just being thoughtful knowing I would be worried. That is, if I unexpectedly don't hear from him I might start worrying about a car crash or whatever, and if he is fine and just forgot to call me, I think that would be a little thoughtless since of course he should know that I would worry. I wouldn't break up over it or anything like that but I would complain. JMO!

No because I'm not insecure. I am assuming whatever reason they were gone for was keeping them busy. Yeah it doesn't take long to send a text and I would expect them to before they went to sleep. If they didn't I'm not going to jump to crazy conclusions if they simply forgot. I trust the person I am dating or with or I wouldn't be for them. It is as simple as that.

If they normally can go a whole day without texting you, then it’s no big deal.


Something came up and they’re probably busy.


But, if they normally text you throughout the day or update you all the time, then suddenly go MIA—I would personally be worried about their safety, like did something bad happen to them? Are they okay?


So, it depends on their texting habits.
