He doesn’t like me so why did he get upset when I unfriended him?

Id like advice about a guy, he always said he didn’t like me but would act like he did, flirting, rang me by ‘accident’, joked about sleeping with me etc. When we first met we were friends and over the years we followed each other but lost contact and didn’t speak. Recently we reconnected but he didn’t tell me he was engaged after months so I unfriended him and he got upset with me.

He asked if I was seeing anyone and showed zero signs of being with anyone let along being engaged- no pics of her online or anything.

I don’t get why he got upset when he doesn’t like me in the first place, and he didn’t think it was a big deal to tell me he was engaged?

I'll tell you exactly why he got upset. He was going to try to use you for sex. Why else would he flirt and also not tell you that he was engaged? It's because he was playing you. Plain and simple. He likely was going to try to get you into bed at some point. When you blocked him and his plan and exposed him for what he was of course he is going to be mad. You ruined his chances.
