My ex was same as you, he was talk and wanted tall children, I was much shorter than me, it hurt me a lot when he said he wanted our children to be tall and he was scared my children wouldn’t be that tall.

I'm the same height and I've been in the same situation before. A foot difference is only awkward when trying to kiss, but that's only negative. I'd look past that worry and instead focus on there being someone you're compatible with.
