Single parents! what has been your coping strategies with a long term custody battle?

12+ years here of it happening. It’s very annoying. I don’t like being around people or in a relationship due to the pressure of the custody battle. I’m exhausted and don’t want to take on anything extra.

Never experienced custody battle but I am in a battle fighting for child support and it is frustrating.

I feel for you. 12 years is a damn long time and it shouldn't be taking this long. It's ridiculous the judges are allowing it to go on that long

It’s always an interim order, which the other party manipulates and starts a new custody order and things are always in a new transition.
He’s never paid child support, never shown his financial statement ever, enforcement is involved and he pays bare minimum so that his drivers license doesn’t get effected.

Girl if you’re doing it without child support then damn you don’t need it. He’s a coward. 🙌
