I have this weird thing and I’ve always thought this that when a guy you’re with randomly just expresses his love over text when he does not normally he’s done something bad? Before when my ex cheated he messaged me how much he loved me at 1am so it’s given me a bit of PTSD?

My boyfriend now had his phone off for 3 hours I tried to call twice. 2 hours later he randomly text me saying how much he loves me cares. His phones never off and I just find it weird when he texts me randomly saying that? Is this toxic of me to think this way? I really can’t help it?
