Have you ever cheated?

I know it's a bad thing to do, cheating i mean - but we can all remain anonymous here online..

Yep. I do regret it, I wish I had ended things with my ex before I started getting involved with the other guy. We were in the midst of a break up but neither one of us wanted to pull the trigger, we just kinda grew apart (turned into an LDR which made it worse). I then met a guy who was going through the same thing in his own relationship, we bonded and eventually started hooking up.

It took me almost 2 years to stop feeling guilty even though my ex never found out, but I think he had an idea. The break up was amicable, we were resenting each other but after we broke up, things went back to normal between me and my ex. Turns out we were much better off as friends.

I also vowed to never cheat again, even tho my ex didn’t find out but I still knew what I did. I felt like such a shitty person so I went to therapy to work on my issues, I’ve now been dating my current boyfriend for a long while now and have never been unfaithful to him even when the relationship was falling apart, we communicated and worked on our issues together.
