I have a clingy s/o and I enjoy it.
It makes me feel loved and I find it endearing. We’re a good match because she’s clingy and I welcome clingy. There isn’t really ever too much clinginess.
But there is a wrong way. One can’t be clingy and controlling at the same time. Or be clingy and behave badly.
Good girls can be as clingy as they want though.
Clingy is good as long as it’s not extreme clinginess but having a partner that values you and wants to be by you is better than having a partner that wants space from you and makes excuses to not spend time with you , is usually a partner that is keeping their options opened and doesn’t value you that much
i find it more rewarding when they’re not clingy, because you get to live a life filled with more opportunities to fulfill your standards.
it makes life your own kind of sexy and your own kind of fun. when you two finally do reunite, it’s like that flame is still lit, because it’s as if it’s the first few days you met in replay, but with an even stronger bond.
Clingy but of course there are some limits and exceptions.
I am quite clingy and I need about the same amount of clinginess in my partner. It's cute and I do feel loved.
Thank you for the MHO :)

I’m a little clingy. Once I get deeper into a relationship. Finding someone compatible is important. Being needy (to a point) isn’t bad if you find someone else who is, the same as someone who needs more space needs someone who also needs more space.
@colaman94 finding your soulmate is important. That’s the only one who will ever truly be right for you. There is no perfect someone. Because nobody perfect but Jesus is alive. But someone very special
@colaman94 being picky is fine
Yeah
@Summeroflove yeah i mean people wrote in other threads than talking about problems or complaining about work is too much. like wth? thats EXACTLY what marriage etc is for!
i witnessed it first hand when my mom was complaining about high stress in a hospital job and my dad told her to deal with it herself! i was always like wtf?
I like them a bit clingy.
When he is clingy, it gives little space for me to be clingy. I like that dynamic.
I'm not clingy, never been with someone I'd say was clingy...
but an ex-girlfriend of mine liked closeness a whole lot... and whenever we were together she liked to be glued to me, lol and that never ever bothered me... so time and attention, intimacy and all that yes, she liked a lot of it
the one thing I didn't like though, is that she was a bit jelly (because of bad previous experiences with other guys) but even that, we got to talk about it and solved it before it became an actual bigger problem
I think it's sweet so long as she is enough aware of it herself, that she understands that she might need to take a step back at times and let my life be mine and our life to be ours, when we're in the same place.
In other words, as long as this clingyness don't mean she is going to make up stories in her head about me doing something else just because I have my own routines and needs for space and indepth friendships.
I will encourage the same for her.
I will want her to have good support-networks too and to hang out with friends without me, how else will she get second opinions and bounce ideas. It's good and healthy to not be co-dependent. But I do like the intensity and the clear intention to want to be close, I just think everything is best in balance.
I like being close physically and I am "touchy-feely", but that's not the same as clingy. I have work that needs to get done, even when I am at home, so I need time to myself to handle that, and I sometimes have to take an important call or even make an unscheduled customer visit. I need my girl to be okay with that and not freak out if I am not there every second.
Having said that, I also have some flexibility as a small business owner and can sometimes spend extra time with her.
A clingy girl in my book is one who can barely be away from her man, and freaks out whenever he leaves, and that's too much. But if you just like being physically close - sitting next to each other, holding hands, cuddling, etc., then that's fine with me and likely most guys.
@Jdotbyvb I'm an Audio/Video Integrator. I design and install home or commercial A/V systems, do networking and WiFi, security cameras, and "smart home" devices.
50-60% of my job is either new construction or major remodels - we pre-wire houses during construction and then trim out everything and install & configure all of the equipment once construction is complete.
Here's a few pics of some jobs:

@Jdotbyvb So, this rack runs all of the audio zones in the house (24 zones including several outdoor zones) and 4 video zones - 2 with 5.1 surround sound and 2 with stereo (but much larger, higher-quality speakers than what's in the TV). There's also some networking equipment in there. They have remote controls in the TV zones, but they can control all zones from their phones or iPad, plus most things can be controlled via voice using Alexa devices. The system also controls some lights, the garage door, the pool and hot tub, and the thermostats.
Yes. In that job, all the wiring goes into the wall at the back of the cabinet or under the house in the crawl space, so you don't see any wires anywhere. And you don't even see the rack itself normally because the cabinet doors are closed. Everything is controlled via Wi-Fi, so, for example, you can be way out in the background of the almost 2 acre property and still control everything, including the music at the sport court in the very back of the yard.
I’m not clingy overall but I can be a little at times. She doesn’t mind, I guess? She doesn’t really say anything about it.
She’s definitely more clingy. It’s cute. She’s always wanting to be close, will get jealous easily, etc. I don’t provoke her but like if another girl flirts with me she will get upset.
No, I would not. I like independent men that don't need to be texted every few hours, nor even every day. I need room to breathe... so no. I hope I am not clingy. I guess I can be up to a point. But I try not to show it.
I don’t mind if she is a little clingy because I does feel good she really likes me but there is a limit. If she calls it text me in the double digits or affectingly my job and ruining my other relationships with my family and friends. I might tell her to be less clingy nicely but if it continues I might have to let her go it just matters if she can handle it. I am not clingy at all I know when to give her space or alone when she needs it and I can wait patiently for a call it text back.
only a little. when it starts to feel a bit controlling and demanding thats when i don't like it.
there's a reason the clingy ex girlfriend is a meme after all lol
After a while, the cling will start to either annoy me or unintentionally take them for granted. But yea its better they cling than be too distant
Update— I’d like him to be more clingy. he's probably clingy once or twice a week. Its still so early on. I’m used to guys being clingy at least the first 3-6 months lol
I like clingy, it makes me feel like I need to earn her love even more. Just as long as I’m not having to report everywhere I go at all times, I’m fine. I’m really big on communication so don’t mind discussing feelings pretty regularly.
One who prefers to spend time with me predominantly. I would not call this ''clingy'' but rather a good match in interests and affection. After all, I offer the same.
I’m clingy to my wife. I just love her and holding her. Wish she would be the same way to me 😞💔
no, i will get annoyed. i like my alone time and i need it. like a little clingy is fine. but too much is just suffocating
Clingy is horrible and a total deal breaker. I want someone who is a whole person on their own. I want two whole people joining together and complimenting each other.
I can be clingy at times, and i'm sure everybody hits a moment of being clingy... And yes, i can be clingy and i would like to have someone that is clingy also, makes life more entertaining..🤷♂️🤣
I had an experience with clingy girl and I didn't like it. Things were moving really fast, and I felt like she was trying to control me. "Do what I want you to do, or I'll be mad at you." After a month of anxiety, I told her I didn't want to see her anymore. I felt sick when I was with her, and then I felt sick after I got rid of her. No way do I want to go through that again!
No, definitely not. I value my private space and time I spend with myself, so clingy person would be too much.
Every partner should be somewhat clingy, but not to a point of disrespecting themselves or being selfish.

Clingy? Like cuddly and mushy and lovey dovey and all that? Hell yes.
Nah, I mean maybe for a little bit it might be nice, but I like a woman to have something she likes doing besides me..
At first it would seem cute until you want to go do something on your own. Sooner or later it will wear you out. I like balance.
Not really. I like an affectionate partner but clingy is a bit of a turn off.
So you’d like a guy who always gives you attention?
That's one thing that we compete each other often LoL
Clingy. I do like hugs and the positive attention. Not negativity or criticism though. I couldn't stand a girlfriend who was either too distant or always "hyper criticising" lol. 🤭🤭😆
Yes, I want a clingy girlfriend but not too clingy. Being clingy is a sign of true love. I hate it when a girl is silent and distant. Her silence frustrates me.
I like clingy girls actually i think it's very good sign in general
One of the major green flags I look for
It has deep psychology part too 😂😂
There are limits to the level of clingyness that I can endure. It's nice to have time together, but it's also nice to have time for myself to enjoy and relax.
personally, i wouldn’t want to have a clingy s/o because it feels like they want to be there all the time, even when you don’t want them to be there. yes, they make you feel like you’re the only one, but sometimes it could gets too much.
Have one who likes doing things together where ever and when ever possible.
I like clingy she treat me like a kid sometime but i wouldn't change it cause it's because she love me so much 🥰
Yes, very clingy, no limit, she can be clingy 24/7 and I'm still good with that.
If they’re clingy even when you’re sweaty…they’re a keeper
😉
I don't mind a bit of cling. My partner is a recovering clinger so it works for us.
😁😁😁My oldest cat of 3 is like that... sighs... tbh, clingy has a good side to it. It means they want to be the center of your world. It's nice to be wanted.
I want somebody who doesn't need to be seeing me the whole day to be mentally stable.
There’s nothing wrong with clingy when it’s logically possible.
Sure beats the alternative. I promise you!
It depends? I want a girls to be into me but if she starts wanting to be around me all the time (especially in the early days) I might think about finishing it?
NO I HATE IT!!! I hate girls who dont have their own lives.
I actually do. It's really cute, attractive, and even endearing. There IS a limit, but my limit is far greater than what most people would first assume.
Clingy isn't healthy but everyone has a different definition of what clingy is.
Not so much. The last clingy woman I got involved with I felt suffocated.
I like an independent woman that is not afraid to show affection in public
Fuck no. I hate clingy people. I need my own time
A bit clingy is good but not to much a little space is good for both partners.
I’m affectionate I like to be clingy but I’m not always clingy
Hmm I'm not sure honestly I've never been in a relationship but I think perhaps a bit of balance. And well I think there is a risk I could be a clingy partner.
Clingy is better because at least you know they love you 🤣
@colaman94 it would be weird if your partner didn't want to spend lots of time together tbh. Especially in the beginning of the relationship.
I want a woman to love me so much that she wants to be up under me but that’s truly hard to find
Im not clingy, but i like having a clingy girlfriend
My so is clingy and he loves me as clingy too
not sure, sounds like a good idea at first, especiallycoming from a model athlete, but i dont know how it would continue
No, but I do like someone physically affectionate.
I would hate it. I need my space.
If you're hot n sexy then no reason to be clingy..
You easily get attention from guys.
You're clingy so you're not hot? 😂
Physically or also psychologically?
Only if it’s good clingy
I'd love to have a clingy partner..
Eh maybe a little bit. But not too much
