Melanie Capuzzo, a girl I bumped into downtown and showed her how to get to the bus station, sat and waited for the bus with her and she hugged me before she left.
A girl I met at a party after a gig we played in Oberlin. We were just about start getting together when the band mysteriously decided to leave, very suddenly.
A girl I met after a Fixx concert and then walked her back home 2 miles away. It started raining once we got there but we started kissing and making out in the rain.
Ann, a French girl that Madame Ex was trying to set me up with, one night and, by the end of the night she warned me off Ann for some reason, wouldn't say why. But, there was no point in taking it any further because she was going back to France the next day.
A girl I met after rehearsal one night. We took a walk together but, again, there was no point in starting anything with her. She was leaving for California the next day.
Kirk, a guitarist we had in the band for about 2 weeks and then we never saw him again.
Joydrop, a band I helped run sound for a couple times. We hung out together 4 times and they they broke up after their second album.

Yeah, I was just talking to my brother about this girl I met at the courthouse back in 2001 or 2002 up in the San Joaquin valley. We were the only people dressed nice. I had a ticket for going 110 in a 70 outside of Bakersfield. She had a ticket for going 109, one day after me and one mile per hour less, but a couple years later. It was a strange coincidence. We hit it off instantly. I asked her for her phone number and she held up her left hand, showing me a huge rock on her ring finger. She was beautiful. When my dad and I saw first her, he said "wow" and I said "Jesus Christ!".

Yes. I met him on a strictly business level a few times, each time for a matter of minutes. He felt so familiar though and one day he mentioned his mother had cancer. We each only got a couple words in following that sentence and I never saw him again. I often wonder about his mom. Isn't that weird?

Yeah a coworker who disappeared a few months back. Didn’t know him too well but from the first time I saw him I was mesmerized a bit and then the few times we interacted , he was perfect. I may never meet a man like this again and it’s ok. It’s good to have met someone with a perfect soul.

I did a job in Cincinnati for about a month. I installed a computer system at the United Jewelry store in downtown Cincinnati. There was a girl there that was the manager's assistant. She heard me complin about eating fast food all the time so she invited me to her place and she cooked me dinner. We did go out a couple of time but i told her that I had a girlfriend. We went out in the rental car one night the night before i was going to leave. we were parked across from Riverfront Stadium and we were talking. She told me that she got pregnant in high school nd hd to drop out. She said that just before the baby was born she fell down a flight of stairs and the baby died. She even knew what the baby would be named. She was going to be named Shawna. Then she started crying. I was a 20 year old kid and knew nothing about post partum depression or anything. I just held her until she stopped. After I went back to the motel she called me on the phone and we talked for about 4 or 5 hours. It was pretty intense. I had to go back to the store the next day to finish a couple of things and she gave me this envelope and told me not to open it until I got on the plane.

After i got on the plane i opened the letter. It said she really has fallen for me and she pit in a couple of pictures of her self. She was very pretty. In the weeks to come we talked to each other on the phone and we wrote to each other. i sent her a gift for her birthday and i never herd from her again. I wrote to her a couple of times and she never answered my letters. I just figured that she maybe found some other guy and forgot about me. Fast forward 30 years and I saw a Reds game and it made me think of her. So i poked around on the internet to see if I could find what happened to her. I could not find anything about her so I looked to see if her father still lived in the same house. I found his obit and it said he was predeceased by a daughter,. I could not find out when she died but msybe that was why she stopped writing to me. I don't know.,

WOW, that's trippy. It probably really got your curiosity up.
Just trying to find out information about my boyfriend was almost impossible. All you get are recordings referring you to the correct department you need from their website that is at least 20 characters long. Finally I just called his brother and asked him where he went. He was cremated and his brother has his ashes. In January the VA will have a memorial for him and bury his ashes I guess?
I'd say to call the coroner, but you don't have that much information to go on.
You were so nice to hear while she was here 7 and l am sure she wanted to be closer to you. After all, you are a hunk! 🙂
