Is 31 years for a guy consider old?

My boyfriend going turn 32 next year on February and I will be turning 29 the same month and ever since he turn 30 especially 31, he always tells me how old he feel and I always tell him he is not. He is 3 years older than me but every time he says he feels old I feel like I’m starting to feel old myself when I never felt that way. We are adults but are we really “ that old”. I don’t want to get in that mind set that I’m old now and I think everytime I hear that from him it gets to me.

Nah, 31 definitely ain't old! That's still young as hell if you ask me. I think your boy is just stressin' himself out for no reason.

Some things to keep in mind:

- Guys tend to hit their athletic prime in their late 20s/early 30s. So he's not even over the hill yet physically.

- Assuming he doesn't have kids already, he's still got tons of family-building years ahead. Plenty of time to settle down.

- Dudes like George Clooney are out here dating models in their 50s. As long as you take care of yourself, age is just a number.

- Most successful people don't even hit their prime until their 30s and 40s. That's when you've got real life experience under your belt.

So tell your man to chill with that "old" talk! 31 is so young. He's still a pup. Reassure him he's got his best years ahead, and you're not going anywhere. Don't start feeling old just cuz of some number, that's wack. You guys are good!

No, not at all. 31 is still very youthful and desirable.

As I've gotten older, I've realized that "young" is more of a mindset than an actual age.

depends to who. to a 15 yo he'd be a dusty dinosaur for sure, but to a 50 yo he'd be basically a baby who barely came into this world

Everybody thinks they’re old everybody at every age. This will never stop. As long as you can perform your duties and take care of your business you’re not old of course getting hurt has nothing to do with anything

30 means you have spend 50% of your life and from this point on your energies decline as you age. So, it's okay to accept it
