Bottom line if the question is do exs lie... the answer is yes. People lie all the time... does not matter what it is. My ex-wife or 24 years, tried to say I rapped her after 24 years o f marriage where she cheated on me, she used the false rape claim to get out front of the divorce to prevent me from seeing my children.

The courts threw it out... she tried four time to get restraining orders against me and each time they were thrown out rather quickly.

So, in the end it worked. My kids were poised and their lives were thrown in chaos and they blamed me... why?

My ex-wife was a very good if not one of the best lairs you could imagine.

I don’t understand why some people do this. They need to move on with their life. But if you’re reaching out to them and they’re talking about it.

Bottom line is forget them if they are petty enough to play games you don't need them. If they are talking to someone else you don't have their interest so let them go. It's cut and dry way too many experiences ore in your future
