Basic do it yourself skills are appreciated but they don't need to be super handy

It doesn’t have to be his main job, however if a man doesn’t have basic skills within those fields , it’s a red flag to me because why are you not willing to learn basic skills that a lot of men around you are learning/learned?

I agree. I'd wager that most young guys these days don't know how to do those things these days.

@asker I agree. I’ll reject someone if they don’t have any of those skills. It’s lazy and shows they don’t put themselves around people that are hardworking
