Girls, How important to you is looks and out of 10 what should a guy be?

I know it may sound superficial to “rate” guys but im sure you girls do it the way guys do it. Be blunt and be honest in your answer.

rate scale:

0- not dateable, extremely ugly
1-4 - not great looking
5- ok looking
6-7 - decent looking
8- cute, handsome
9- hot (has most of the qualities of 10) just not as tall or not as muscular
10- ultimate stud, has the whole package, beautiful hair, tall, model-esq, muscular, big penis.

I’m being blunt with my ratings because I’m assuming most girls who answer this in their minds will say I want a guy who’s a 9 or 10. Side note, let’s also assume the hotter the guy the more he’s likely to cheat on you/fuck another girl/have an affair and not be that respectful towards you. What do you choose then? Either this answer will garner zero responses or a few I dunno.

I mean I think most people want to be somewhat physically attracted to someone initially, unless they are talking online without profile pictures or something which leaves the door open to fall for someone's personality before their looks which will change where they see them on the scale when you finally meet vs just bumping into them on the street. Being attractive is more than looks. Even a 10 on the scale can become a 1 real quick if his attitude and personality sucks. Just like lower number can become higher once you get to know him. It's all fluid.

See I know I’m a decent looking guy but when I use dating apps like Tinder or whatever a lot of girls will unmatch with me or eventually reject me coldly or ghost me. I try to make them laugh, I don’t say stupid skit about sex. I try to be genuine and caring (not a push Over) but it’s not good enough. I can’t take dating apps seriously. I think girls use them to boost their ego, they are no different then fuck boys

I've never used a dating app, but to me they seem to be for shallow people looking to hook up, and I struggle to take people like that seriously. Im new to the dating world again after being out for a long long time so I'm not much help. But I hope your person is out there! The dating pool always seems like crap though, I do remember that. Just keep weeding through the crap and there are some awesome people out there to be found.

I deleted dating apps of my phone because I know as a guy it’s not going to be perfect and many girls will reject me unless I’m some Brad Pitt type dude. But I can’t take a girls rejection seriously, and I understand people have the right to reject others but I don’t like when someone has a preconceived notion about me when they don’t know me. I’m sure girls don’t want to be looked at that way either. I just don’t know what it is. I know guys who are boring and don’t “entertain” their gfs or wives but girls expect me to be the shoulder to cry on guy, that guy who has to entertain them or the guy who has to sexually turn them on where they ask me to talk dirty to them or show them dick pics…yes I am not kidding numerous girls throughout the last 10 years have asked me to do that stuff. I am angry at myself for catering to these girls, I’m tired of it man.

I can understand the frustration. Definitely don't let anyone use you. I don't know. I just plan to focus on me and if someone else wants to come along for the ride then cool. If not, then cool. I get the frustration though. I was sorts in that place when I met my husband.

Looks isn’t that important to me because I know that less handsome guys come with more loyalty and less heartbreak and sometimes even better personalities.


With that being said I would prefer the man I date to be in the 3-7 range. Anything below 3, I’ll be embarrassed to bring him home or say that I’m his. Anything above 7 and I’ll turn into one of those insecure crazy gfs.

I never got the whole number thing, I think it's dumb. You're either attractive to me or you're not.
I only date people who I'm attracted to.
All of my ex boyfriends I have thought of as total hotties.

You could be a 10 with a 0 type of fuckboy personality and I would not look at you because you would fall under an absolute 0. You could be a 1 and treat a girl so great that you become a 10. How someone acts overrides looks every time.

6-7 he doesn't have to be extremely cute, but definitely not extremely ugly either.
