Do you have a good intuition?

I'd like to believe that I do, well, in real life at least. My gut feeling is almost always correct. Wbu?

I believe my intuition is pretty sharp. It has guided me well. Some of my biggest mistakes in life were made because I chose to override what my intuition was telling me to do. Usually it’s logic and reasoning that has steered me wrong (when it has clashed with my intuition), whereas I can’t recall a time when my intuition has steered me wrong. True intuition is much more than just assumption or feeling — it feels like a sixth sense — like wisdom from something deeper within. It seems like a connection with your higher self or some higher consciousness.

It depends how intuition is defined. Generally, it’s considered as following your gut. I don’t really like the idea of that. I think a lot of things are complicated and multilayered and need further evaluation. Sometimes, the gut feeling was right, but it’s important to consider about the times when the gut feeling was wrong. There’s also the whole thing about hindsight bias, but I think you get the point.

yes... and I grew up like that, always felt good or bad vibes from certain people...
and then I would keep my distance or get closer to them

especially after eye-contact... never been wrong about it either

however, even when I feel these certain vibes, I never take them as a fact, intuition comes first... but then I follow with actual experience, just aware of the vibes, but I still give it a fair try, lol

I go based on logic, most people aren't logic therefore no lol. Can't figure out a person or situation if they are actively going against logic.
However that's socially, if one's to ask me a problem or test I can usually just think of the correct answer without much thought but that's more IQ than intuition.

I am an ISFJ. When I encounter something, my intuition is activated first but then my observation quickly takes over. I am more observant (70%) than intuitive (30%) and make decisions based on observation most of the time as I don't like to take risks 😊

I never follow my gut but yep. I get a lot of hunches that I swear can be psychic readings. Have a friend, and we dont talk about our relationships but been good friends for a bit now. Asked a girl out, and never saw them together but once and apparently they're dating and I felt that shit long ago but was like "nah impossible."

Scientifically intuition is a humans defense mechanism. Porcupines have jabbers, we have spidey sense.


Id trust it, and then re-assess. Sometimes it’s wrong. Your ancestors were alive long enough to produce because they saw movement in the bushes. Could be nothing. So they cautiously re-assessed.

I'm an Overthinker! So yeah, my intuitions are correct, because i "asses the issue", until there is No threat left, or i make a "fail-safe" plan. Rushed actions and "maybe" it doesn't work with me, as the "following consequences" can be dire.

I do but I don't always follow it and because I don't follow it, I screw things up. Because my mind goes "Nooo that's ridiculous", that hunch feeling ends up being right and then I'm sad that I didn't listen to my gut.

I'd like to think so. There have been several instances where I've just been uncomfortable with a person with no string reason why, and in each they've turned out to be a pretty nasty human being. I try to pay attention to that feeling now

Yes, my intuition is 85% on point. I'm both analytical and intuitive, so my bias tells me it's the best of both worlds.

Hard to tell. I assume everybody is lying to me at least 50% of the time. Not sure if that counts as intuition. But I've found it's still pretty accurate. 😂
