Does my crush like my friend?

I had my friend text my crush to tell him I liked him. and he now texts her everyday and stopped texting me. I don't know what happened or why? Is he interested in her?

That's messed up! I would definitely be feeling confused and worried in your situation.

A few things that might be going on:

- Your crush may be more interested in your friend now that he's talking to her more. People can develop crushes on new people even if they didn't expect to. So there's a chance he likes her.

- Or, he may be avoiding talking to you directly because he's not sure how to reject you in a nice way since you like him. So talking to your friend is easier than dealing with your feelings.

- It's also possible your friend is flirting with him or making it seem like she's interested to try and make him like her instead of you. Friends aren't supposed to do that!

I'd say talk to your friend and see what's really been said between them. And don't completely rule out talking to your crush too, just to get some closure. But it does seem fishy... be prepared in case he isn't into you anymore. Don't lose other friendships trying to hold onto something that might not be there. You'll find someone better who actually wants to be with you!

how did he respond to you telling him you liked him? also, if he's not texting you, and texting her instead, it is safe to say he's more interested in talking to her. i'd leave them and stop being her friend
