Yep. When I met current partner, I was just getting out of a divorce. I told him I didn't want anything serious, and I wanted to play the field before I just jumped into another long-term relationship. So, it was open for 10 years. He didn't exercise that option, but I sure did. And then I just got bored with the dating scene and gave up on it. He's still here 20 years later. Never officially closed the borders and declared monogamy, and we're not married, but I was really the only one who was "unsettled" and wanted to wander a bit, and now I'm just scunnered/over it.
