I just wanted to get people’s opinions. Curious!

There’s a reason why the Olympics have a male and female division.

Both male and female Olympians train to their absolute physical limits.

Males just biologically have more strength potential.

You can even look at male and female bodybuilders who are allowed to take steroids.

The biggest male steroid users are significantly larger than the biggest female steroid users.

No matter how you look at it, biological males just have an undeniable biological advantage.

Which is why in sports competitions, it makes sense for there to be separate categories for biological males and biological females.

Can a highly trained female athlete win against an untrained male athlete? Absolutely.

But, if you’re looking at 2 competitors that are equally experienced, then the male will have the biological advantage.

It would be as if he was a female taking performance-enhancing drugs.

Pound for pound, men  tend  to be physically stronger.

When both are at equally fit levels, men tend to be about 20% stronger overall on average. So, a woman who is 20% more fit than most men will be as strong as them. The answer is overall men, because men have the capability to be stronger with exercise, but plenty of women are stronger than most men.

For example, my daughter is 5'10" and works out about 5 days a week half the year and 3 days a week the other half. My husband is 5'10", about 40 lbs heavier, and works out about the same amount. They are a very close match in a playful fight match. Both could do real damage and incapacitate the other depending on the day. He can beat her in a race, but that's more due to my genes than her fitness level.

A shorter or less fit man wouldn't stand much of a chance against her.
