Is calling my girlfriend sexy in a Christian relationship bad?

Ever since I’ve been with my girlfriend anytime she sends a picture all I say is she looks nice and looks good. She’s very insecure and she recently sent a picture of her which was very sexy but I couldn’t say that because I wasn’t sure what her reaction would be like

Calling anyone "sexy", "hot" or by any other demeaning term is not ideal because you simply objectify that person.

If you analyze the word in itself, then it always has a sexual connotation. That means that you imply that this person is only good for one thing and that is for fornication, since this is basically what people imply.

Thus, given the context, yes it is bad in a strict point of view. That is indirectly associating your girlfriend with an sexual object and to me, that is... abject.

People don't realize that calling others "sexy" and all those other deviant terms is actually a pure sexual objectification of the victims of those terms.
