Very much. When my last ex left me her parents took her out of the will "for being stupid." Her dad has since passed but her mom's a lovely lady.

Her mom still reminds her 3 years later that she'll never do as good as me. We exchange birthday and Christmas presents. I help her with her gardening. I get tons of her produce in return :)
