Am I wrong for choosing not to have social media, aside from here of course?

So, here is the story, I have no social media beyond gag. I have no Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter/x, nor do I have TikTok or YouTube, or anything else. My my wife's friends have been telling her that it is a huge red flag and a strong indicator that I'm supposedly cheating. She of course knows that's not happening, and thinks they are stupid for suggesting something is wrong if I don't have social media. We had a good laugh about it lol.

she needs new friends lol…I can understand why she wants to have some girly friends…I stay away from drama girls…

I work with 99% women… they are full of drama.
I am like you…don’t have any social media… it’s brain poison… most women (lots of men) are being poisoned by social media.
yiu have posted some stuff (some videos) to be honest…I never really watch them… so forgive me…

I think sometimes you just need some reassurance… all good 👍

I do use YouTube to listen to Dave Ramsey or cooking recipes or travel… just stuff like that.

I think they’re the red flags for thinking that not having social media is a red flag. I don’t give nearly enough of a shit about superficial nonsense to have an account. I also value my privacy.

O fk off... cheating. No, you're not wrong. I have a twitter for entertainment but i stay off such things as facebook because my life is none ya business. My husband doesn't think I'm cheating. I am only on GaG and no other social media. I am single so there's no cheating factor like your wife believes.

I didn't even know people were saying bad things about the first lady until someone on here said it's on social media. We haven't said bad things about her here on GaG.

There is so much stuff on social media and I don't need to fill my normal brain 🧠. If I believed or new about that stuff I would probably want to run away.
