I slapped my Fiancée many times after finding out he is cheating, is this wrong?

So recently I found out my Fiancée is currently cheating on me and denied it at first by saying that that was his ex trying to ruin our relationship but then the girl sent me all to their recent message exchanges, so I confronted him and I don't remember how many times I slapped him both side of his face and felt guilty afterwards. Was I wrong to do that to him?

You are lucky he didn't haul off and punch you. You can't physically put your hands on anyone, as that is assault, and you assaulted him. I think that with both of your actions, your relationship is Kaput. I don't think there is any going back. But frankly, would you want him back after he cheated on you? If you say yes then you are as nuts as he is.

Your boyfriend is obviously wrong about what he did but don't physically put your hands on people that didn't hit you first.

You could just end the relationship and leave.

Yes assault your partner is wrong, much less if it's not done in a legitimate self-defense case. If someone cheats, you ditch them.
