She does voluntarily allow and trust me to make executive decisions that impact the both of us. Still, if I'm the metaphorical captain of the ship, she's my first officer and most trusted advisor.

All of mine were. My parents relationship was, good thing they got divorced. My aunt and uncle got divorced. Another one of my aunt and uncle. My moms parents. Most of my friends and their gfs have been off and on constantly. If it weren’t true that all relationships are unhealthy than how do you explain all of that?

Well, to be honest with you. I think all those relationships started without respect? Maybe the couples met in an wanted circumstances? Healthy relationship is all about respect. A relationship without respect for each other is certain to fall apart. That's my opinion.
