I would have loved to have the ability to read peoples minds. Know what they think about one when I talk to them or when I socialise.
Probability manipulation. The ability to cause things to happen by consciously or subconsciously changing its probability. Especially when it's the kind of power where probability aligns directly with your intentions.
Old timey example: I to bet on a racehorse with the intent of winning. And somehow, even if the horse has the worst odds, worst health, worst chances of crossing the finish line in anything other than last, something happens, and he wins anyway. There's a trip hazard and all but the horse I bet on hit it, giving him the lead. Something inside him happens where he wants to win the race, maybe it's his last and he knows it and now he wants to give it his all. He wins, but later dies from the exertion. Not a happy ending, but it got me to win my prize. That sort of thing.
That said, unfortunately, you don't typically control how the probability changes. It's just "the universe" doing some type of "math" which makes things happen in your favor.
Another example might be, I go to a bar or casino with the intent of meeting a rich guy who'll relate to me and I make a big enough impression on him that he leaves me his wealth on his death bed.
Another example might be, I make a list of attributes I want in a partner, and I determine that she's going to end up passing through my local Starbucks within the next week. She'll be walking out as I'm walking in and spill her drink on me. I'm going to buy her a new drink, despite it being her drink and having spilled on me, and we're going to hit it off. So I just make sure to walk into Starbucks each day, or maybe even one day, over the next week. Because that one day will "probably" be the day she's in there. The probability works out in my favor, every time.
So, even for one day of probability manipulation, I could do so much and have so much fun.

+1 yThis is going to sound so weird but I really don't think I want one. I think I'll get spoiled by it if it's only going to last for a day and also things like mind-reading, even if just for a day, might mess up my whole life knowing the darkest recesses of what goes on in people's minds.
I'm really happy with things as they are now with all my human limitations. I wouldn't mind if someone gave me like a million dollars though. Definitely not going to turn that down.

All super powers are impractical and basically require your body to have most, if not all of invulnerability, super speed, accelerated healing, accelerated thinking, super perception, and accelerated metabolism.
Super powers would be a curse more than a benefit as your super speeded your way into a brick wall, landed your way head first into the ground on your first flight, burned out your corneas and optic nerves with your heat vision, broke every bone in your hand with your super punch or starved to death running 200 miles in 2 minutes.

+1 yOkay... something that can set me up for life after only one day, that I also wouldn't miss when that day is up...
Mind reading. Then I'd play poker and make a living 💰 If I had invisibility I'd be able to rob some banks but, knowing myself, the guilt would drive me nuts. So beating a bunch of gamblers looks like the way to go 🙃00 Reply

Oh, diving deep into the ocean of thoughts, are we? 😉 Reading minds sounds like the ultimate cheat code for a relationship coach, imagine the secrets and the unsaid words I'd uncover. But, for a twist, I'd choose the superpower of spreading irresistible joy and love—wherever I go, hearts heal, relationships mend, and lonely souls find their match. Because, let's face it, in a world where ghosting is a thing and lovebombing can blind us, a little more love and understanding could do wonders. 😍 Now, wouldn't you agree that's a superpower worth having? What kind of chaos or harmony would you bring into people's lives if you could read their minds for a day? Let's chat about it!

+1 yHmmm… what’s something that could last long term even when removed after said 24 hour shift………….. I would either choose a Cranial Simulator double-decker Enhancement, which basically would allow me to replay memories and dreams as if it were on a TV screen, and simulate hypothetical scenarios in the same way in my mind. You could think of it as lucid dreaming but you have COMPLETE control. So that, or the ability to create any object from my body like Momo Yaoyorozu from My Hero Academia. Unlimited Oreos and gas grenades!

As for my superpower I would wave my magical wand over the world & give the world the gift of clean water worldwide & if someone else had a superpower for one day maybe they can wave their magical wand as well & clean the air we all breathe.

+1 yUnlimited amount of Mind Control and since I will have 24 hours only, I will use every second of it to change the world into my own liking. (No more corruption of ANY kind, no more greed or selfishness, no more wars etc...). Ones I be done with my one day limit super power, this earth would become a paradise.

What if you saw the future and noticed something you didn't like? Like sicknesses people receive or deaths. Imagine knowing that information after the 24 hours are passed.

that's fine. wouldn't effect me. reality is outside of my family I don't care much what happens to people. Main reason why future vision would be a fantastic power is I could look x time into the future to see what technological advancements had been made and exactly how they had been made. record that information for that 24 hours in as much detail as possible and then make that future tech now thus changing the future by pulling it to the present rapidly speeding up advancement
