I’ve had dreams (nightmares really) about my ex before while being with my current partner but they used to be really bad before I met her.


I think I’ve told her about my nightmares about my ex before very early in my relationship because I was telling her about how certain things in my life fucked up my mental, but the nightmares are dang near completely gone at this point so I see no reason to bring it up again, they’re not an issue anymore.

Probably so. My wife and I really like to share our dreams. We have very weird ones though so it'd probably be a weird one if an ex popped up in one of mine.

Also my wife knows some of my exes since two of them are actually some of her closest friends now. They're also both married to good guys (also our friends).

Normally I don't think it's such a good idea to stay in close contact with our exes or talk about them much. But in the case of my wife, she was part of our mutual friend group and a friend for almost a year before we started dating. So starting off just being friends and part of the same group, she not only came to know my exes but befriend them as well before we started dating.

I don't think there's a need to share every dream I have (probably around 6000 of them) and I know for sure some of my ex-girlfriends would not like to hear about other ex-girlfriends of me, lol
