the ability to just be there. y'know? like the ability to listen to them talk for hours =, and maybe get annoyed, but not hate them for it. the ability to look at them and think about all those questions like "what if none of this is real?" or "what if im the only person who's genuinely conscious" or "what if everyone sees colors entirely different" and to go "i hope not, bc they are perfect with their colors, and them not being real would be a punch t the gut. the ability to be able to take a shit while their in the shower and have a deep conversation about how fascism led to Japanese internment camps during WWII while cracking jokes about how my mom left my family too. Just to be able to be present without being annoyed another person is there.
