Do attention seeking people realise that no one cares?

Do people who constantly talk about themselves and try hard to grab attention realise that most people don't give 2 shits about them and probably consider them a joke?

Attention seeking people usually don’t care about the apathetic, that’s not their targets. Their targets are those who do care, and they can find them very easily, even if they’re not totally aware of the fact that they’re just seeking attention to fill some other void in their life. Shaming them doesn’t solve that problem, if anything they’re to be pitied

Most of the attention seeking people I know, don't care whether or not other people realise nobody cares because they are so far up their own ****, they are too egocentric to stop and take stock of any given situation!
