Can one feel love and hate towards someone at the same time?
Feeling hate is stronger than feeling love, or vice versa. This is related to what the person feels at that moment and/or how the person to whom that feeling is instilled treats the person who feels it.
To give an example, I am fond of a woman and I adore her, in short, I am in love.
But if that person treats me in a negative manner, my brain processes and what my heart feels suddenly changes and that emotion remains dominant. In this case, the feeling I feel for that person is not love, but hatred. Or vice versa.
If that woman tells me that she loves me, the feeling of love will remain dominant, and the feeling of hate will disappear like a light opening in the dark and fade away.
Ya da... :)

Love compels animals (and humans) to breed. That's all it does. Unless it's platonic. Platonic love is the type of love that they're talking about when they say love conquers all. Not romantic love. Romantic love is constantly conquered and defeated. So platonic love is the stronger emotion even compared to hate
I think it can depend on the person. Some people are pessimistic and have a "you have to earn my respect" attitude towards people, so hate is easier to come by than love. But then, you have other people (I'm like this) who tend to respect and "love" people from the start. It takes a lot for me to really hate a person, but if I do, then I can feel it very strongly. It also takes a lot for me to completely love someone, but when I do, I feel that very strongly.
So, I guess it depends on the reason or journey of why you feel that way towards someone that measures how strong the emotion is.
It's a knife edge.
It's similar to why it hurts so much when you lose someone you love. The amount of pain you feel is how much you loved them. Anger is a way of masking the pain of love until inevitably guilt for that natural anger emotion sets in.

Jumping right into the heart of the matter, love and hate are like two sides of the same intensely emotional coin. 💕💔 They're both incredibly powerful, but in my field of expertise, I'd say love often has the edge because it's not only an emotion but also an action – it pushes us to grow, forgive, and connect on deeper levels. As for feeling love and hate simultaneously towards someone, oh absolutely! It's a classic case of being emotionally conflicted. This happens because humans are complex beings with the ability to experience a wide range of emotions, sometimes all at once. Imagine you're in a relationship where your partner does something that deeply hurts you – that's a breeding ground for feeling both love for the history and hate for the hurt. It’s a rollercoaster, but remember, understanding and communication are key to navigating these turbulent emotional waters. 😉

Love is a stronger emotion, harder to come by. Hate is easy.
I tend to think negative emotions are easier to delve into for longer periods of time. Such as sadness and happiness it's easy to get upset about things and stay upset. A lot of people I've met hold grudges forever but they can't love a single woman for more than a month
I was talking about this the other day. While hate is easier to maintain than love (which requires constant nurturing), love can conquer hate, so it’s stronger.
I just remembered this song.. 🫣
https://www.youtube.com/embed/BTGvcFg0pAIYes you can feel both for someone at the same time. I think hate tends to be stronger than love
Hate is way easier to find or create than love though I believe true love is the most powerful.
People say it is love but I think it is hate. Out adrenal response is wired right into our anger response.
It’s the same emotion manifested differently. Therefore equally potent either way.
They are opposites they are equal in strength
Historically it's definitely hate. On an individual level it's up for debate but probably still hate
Love. Especially romantic or sexual love. Those pelvic thrusts aren't for lack of thrusting 👀👀👀🚀🚀🌌 lol
I think they're both equally strong in totally opposite directions.. and you can hate and love someone but at different points in time..
I believe so. There are definitely circumstances that can make you love and hate someone from what I can tell. I don't think one emotion is stronger than the other it's all about the intensity that you feel then towards people.
Is revenge vs forgiveness?
Anger vs calm?
Yin vs yang.
69ing vs dry humping.
Everything has an equal and opposite flip side.hate: hate makes people do more immoral and unehtical if not downright violent things
Yes, they are both intense emotions. But infatuation with someone is more intense
Hate is stronger, because hate can destroy you.
Love, it conquers everything. Although hatred may sometimes feel intense, the power of love sweeps it away like a gentle breeze.
I think I really depends on the person and what voice gets fed.
Hate is far stronger..
