It seems silly but back in 2021 I started to have feeling for a friend of mine in 2022 I told him about said feelings (which if I ever develop feelings for someone again I prob won’t speak on them) but it wasn’t completely mutual.
Here we are years later and I still have these feelings.
Anyone been in this situation and have any advice?

I’m 34 and feel so on how this could happen.
My friend still contacts me often and I don’t want to just cut him off. I say that because if I don’t see him for awhile I feel like whew ok I’m over him. When I see him they’re back.
