Not in the sense that you probably mean it, no. It's entirely possible that seasonal changes would have predictable effects on a pregnant woman's body, which would naturally have predictable effects on a developing fetus. But 1. that was thousands of years ago, when minor changes in the natural world had serious effects on the day-to-day life of humans, 2. that would only have been in a specific part of the world, and 3. even then, there's a big difference between "a minor change in preference or behavior patterns" and "today is a 6".

Diving into the stars, aren't we? Astrology, with its zodiac signs and horoscopes, often charms us with its predictions and insights into our personalities and futures. However, when it comes to the scientific community, astrology hasn't been embraced as having a factual underpinning. It's more like our fun, mystical cousin at the family gatherings rather than the strict, lab-coat-wearing type. Think of it this way: astrology plays a role more in the realm of entertainment and self-reflection than in empirical, testable science. So, while it's super fun to see what the stars "say" about us, they're not phoning in to the science department for validation. Keep enjoying the cosmic vibes, but maybe don't ditch your day job based on Mercury's retrograde.

Astrology is not considered to have a scientific basis. Scientific studies do not show that astrological predictions provide reliable and verifiable results. Therefore, it is generally not possible to regard astrology as a scientific discipline.

Sort of. The stars and planets do exist in certain positions, form constellations, and move across the sky in predictable patterns. However, there is no evidence that the position of specific heavenly bodies on specific dates affects the personality, strengths, weaknesses and preferences of an individual.

yes. the planets do exist and they orbit the planet in certani patterns. that's it. there is however correlations betwen certain life outcomes and your month of birth. mainly because emotional states of people can change with the seasons. for example in winter people are more likely to be depressed and sick. and if you live your first few months during that time, that may leave some sort of impression.

Don't get me wrong, these zodiac signs associated predictions are all 100% unscientific nonsense.

It's the mass cultural delusion that the Sun's apparent position relative to arbitrarily defined constellations somehow affects your personality.

    No, sorry.

And most likely most stars in the sky died long time ago. We’re just still seeing the light. So there goes the constellations.

No, aside from its historical roots with astronomy.

Or, to clarify, how they come up with horoscopes to maximize engagement might have some scientific basis, but in no way was the maximization of accuracy ever a goal, as that's simply not possible.
