Whenever it's a ''white man and black woman'' relationship/marriage, what's the reason behind it?

For instance these rich, white men didn't just date but marry a black woman, is there any reason behind it? I know why a black woman can go after a white man but assuming that he asked her out on a date, asked her to be his girlfriend and then proposed... what's the reason a white man (esp if it's one with many options) goes after a black woman?

You're looking at it the wrong way. The rich man will get with the most sought after black OR white woman. He's not going to the trailer park and picking up the woman who can't hold a conversation with a guy on his level. He's not getting the woman who can only speak "ebonics"/slang and is living in a poor neighborhood. He's not getting with YOU either.

Everything in life can be looked at as percentages. There's only a small percentage of top level women. This is the crowd the rich guy is selecting from. You might not like it, but some percentage of those black chicks is higher level than the vast majority of white chicks.

That all said.. most people don't seek out "black woman" or "white woman". They go for what is in the social circle they are fishing in. Obviously being in the right social circle matters a lot more than the other stuff. Well, it's obvious to me but then, I have some experience with this stuff.

I'm thoroughly concerned at how you worded this question and your subsequent update, but I'm also not surprised.

The reason a man selects a woman is because he likes her, is it not? Is it hard to believe a black woman can be liked?

It's because I got reminded of a former classmate that was into black girls since he was a kid. No one in his family were blacks but he liked black girls. His first girlfriend was black and he later on married a black woman. I think he liked their culture a lot, maybe.
I know how some men have preferences for Asian girls (more traditional and small frame, their cooking and love eventually) so I was curious about why some white men like black women.

Black people are not a monolith. There's more than one black culture, as there are for literally every other race in the world. Even what you said about Asian women is stereotypical. I think you need to stop placing white men on a pedestal and realize that we are all people. You're also better off asking the white men who like black women why they like black women. I can't speak for those men and their individual reasons.

Just like regular relationships they met and things between them clicked. My girlfriend is black. I came in my building and she was in the lobby playing pool. I showed all the pool players my new gun I had just bought. She said she used to have one and wanted to go shoot it. One day I was going to the gun range and I asked her if she wanted to go. The rest is history. I think it takes both having an open mind. I’ve been introduced to black culture like never before but I have been accepted into the black community even though I’m a gun toting diehard conservative

I got reminded of an old school classmate (white as snow, light brown navy hair and intense, ocean, blue eyes) that always had a thing for black girls. He was 11 at the time and once said he just liked black girls. Years later his first girlfriend (he was then 16) was black and later on got married to a black woman. Everyone in his family were whites. Luckily his family was very accepting and kind. That's partially why I was curious.

I was just curious. For instance I know why some white men are into Asian girls and it's because they're more traditional and smaller frames. But I just don't know why certain white men like black women. I knew of a classmate in my school (white as snow with recessive ocean blue eyes) that had a thing for black girls. The boy's parents and all other members in the family were whites, not sure where his like came from. That's what I'm wondering.
