I don't. I think we are potentially compatible with any number of people, and are limited by logistics. Once we decide, that person becomes our "soul mate".
I think the concept of soul mates is a romanticized Hollywood myth and can lead to infidelity and a tendency to second-guess when things get tough. After all, if things aren't perfect, what if we made a mistake?
I think that the odds of finding a "soul mate" out of 8 billion people, and that "soul mate" being in proximity to us, is highly unlikely. I think it's even more unlikely that most people who marry would find their soul mate with those odds. What do you think?
