Does anyone truly believe in the existence of soul mates?
Could there actually be one person that compliments another so seamlessly that they know without a doubt they are meant to be? Can anyone ever be that sure?

I think in a roundabout way we are all soulmates because we all kind of came from the same place I do believe in twin flames and that is very interesting I have met someone that I thought was my twin flame I don't know they were or not but I mean I didn't know what a twin flame was and started reading up on it and everything that it stated that's what was happening and that is a trip when that happens but we are made of water and atoms atoms broke down equals energy
The planet has an energy field around it everything on this planet has molecules in itself vibrates so that creates energy or has it and when two energies become one you could feel like a twin flame you could feel like a soulmate it's just like music is energy because of the vibration and it flows through the air with megahertz we all put out and make it hurts out of our body and went to people are compatible you can feel that richness you can feel that beautiful this coming from each other and I think that's what people think of when they feel that you also feel like you could be a soulmate because it is one of the most beautiful feelings in this world and it could be true I don't know but I would like to hope that there is
It's important to differentiate between twin flames and soulmates.
Apparently you have lots of soulmates, and while they're an extremely aligned match, like you've always known each other, there's a certain coolness to them, still. Like you're just best friends.

Yes and no... once a past friend of mine told that if we meet someone here in this life and immediately get along well, it's cause our souls know each other from past lives, not soulmates per se but like just meeting again and I think that's a cute thought tho
I’ve definitely met a few people and felt as though I’ve known them my entire life. As of today I’ve known those people for over 20 years!!! So, perhaps I did know them in previous lives…. or alternate universes…never know!!!

Very true…especially if you find someone who seems pretty great and are content with that. How could you even know there could be someone even more perfect out there if you’re not looking? Soul mates seem quite impossible in my opinion yet still an impossibility I’d welcome if it slapped me in the face!!! 💗
I am fully willing to believe that out of the many millions of suitable puzzle pieces there is a good likelihood of one existing that complements us not only near perfectly but beyond our own idea of what perfect would be. Someone who, when paired with, makes the sum greater than the parts.
But I just see that as statistically likely. Just like I view it as unlikely you will find someone like that.
Right, I find it unlikely that “fate” has anything to do with a single thing in life. Perhaps some people are just better at believing someone is perfect for them than others. So in a way, perhaps soul mates are more a state of mind, an agree to disagree type of outlook.
Long story but I met my soul mate in 1985 we dated for couple of years I went over seas in marine Corp. We both married others after 25 years my wife passed. I got friend request from her she was going through divorce. I had given her a promise ring in 1986. I'm keeping my promise after 36 years we are getting married.
I absolutely believe in that and have seen it personally first hand in real life.- so I know it’s real I secretly have always wanted to meet my soulmate and have a strong and forever love with someone I could rely on and be with and love for the rest of our lives. Do I think I think I will actually meet that person or be loved like that? Probably not - but I as a 19 year old woman will continue to secretly dream of and ache for it.
I had one, so kind of? I believe there are statistically ideal people for us out there, but no guarantee we'll ever meet them, cross paths, or that we're "destined" to be together. Speaking of statistics, most men's "soulmates" would probably be a Chinese woman. 750 million of them are a lot.
Nope zero chance of that. I used to think that way but I believe it’s a fairy tale. Humans are made for themselves and their Gods and not for another person.
A person can find a great companion and friend but soulmates is too far fetched in my jaded personal opinion
I believe life is a series of decisions we make. There are many potential candidates out there for us but we choose who we want to enter into an agreement with based on the knowledge and what we have come to know of that person. Even if we may find that given individual there is always someone who is better suited for us.
Yes & no. I believe my wife is a "soul mate". There's probably 3,000 other women in the world who could be to. It's not necessary/worth it for me to go looking for them. It was hard enough to find the one I have. Ha ha.
I’ve always loved Tinker Bell!!! Maybe like Peter Pan says…. we just need to believe it to be real…or something of that nature! Never know!!! I’ll remain realistic yet optimistic!! 💗
No there is anything from 0 to thousands of people you can call soul mates, it all about your acceptance and tolerance and theirs too. Some people are so messed up that there is no match for them.
I have seen couples that were , I goal of many to find the best match. Love and friendship sex of course but to want to be with someone and become one. Share the very depths of yourself and trust them 100%. Never want to betray them, many marriages fail. Some fall apart slowly like mine is now.
It’s hard to know who is your soul mates or the best missing part of yours in real life, even possibilities for both get marriage is pretty low because who know when you met them.
Love does exist. I have two children who I would sacrifice myself for without a second thought if it meant saving their lives. That has to be real and unquestioned love.
I believe love has many faces, some more serious than others. If you open yourself up to the possibility you’ll start to see love in many places!!!
Being a parent doesn't mean love exists, I had parents and I was always told how my mom didn't want to keep me when I was born because I was too ugly as a baby, no one has ever shown me any kind of "love" my entire life and I've always wished and prayed for "love" until I realized it's just never gonna happen for someone like me. People aren't even nice to me. Only time some people act nice to me is online and the ones who have seen my face gave looks of disgust and ghosted me. If "love" exists why has it always avoided me and what can't people ever tell me what it's supposed to feel like. 36 years and not once have I ever heard someone say they "love" me.
To me "love" is just a word people use when they feel "like" just doesn't work well enough. "Love" is an obligation for others to say when they like someone. If "love" was the most powerful force in the universe like I keep hearing, why is it so easy to break?
I’m so sorry you’ve been made to feel that way. Everyone should feel the warmth and security of true unconditional love in the childhood. That’s a scar that can never be erased but you can use it to empower your future. If you’ve never felt loved then learn to love with all your heart. Show someone else the love you never had. Also, it really is true that you can really only love another person after you’ve learned to love yourself. Self-love may sound like hippie nonsense but it’s a crucial foundation. I wish you the best, don’t give up. Without love life is a dark place, brighten your mind set-brighten you’re life!!! 🙂
See that's the thing, everyone thinks I hate myself, I don't. Everyone keeps telling me to "love" myself but no one can ever explain to me what it is or what it's supposed to feel like, not even my therapist so how am I supposed to "love" anything if I don't know how it feels or what it is.
Even if I was to find self "love" I'm not going to ever try dating, I made a vow to myself never to put myself out there for rejection ever again and I don't go back on my vows, if a girl was to approach me that's a different story but let's be real, that's not going to happen. You might think that's not a bright mind set thing to say but I'm a realist and thats just not something that will happen.
