Would you rather someone pity you or hate you?

i can only say this because of my age and a different kind of peace, that is present, but i still have to work on its evolvement... but what someone else thinks of me is none of my business... being a lover not a hater, i would hope they didn't feel either but at a push, pity me because at least then they are not full of a hate that eats away at them... two days ago i had a situation where a person approached me in an immediate sexual advance and when rebuked he pleaded he wouldn't tell anyone!!! now for a brief second i pondered on how he must have an image of me that allowed himself to be that forward... now that IS NO WAY on me, but if i were in my 20s it probably would of damaged me for life... but now im like, dude thats your own issues, he was instantly blocked and im like what a prick!!! so my life experience advice is, work on... oneself only... its tough actually to do it... how can any of us be our best version of ourselves in a state of open evolvement to exist well amongst others if we dont fix ourselves first?
