Would you date someone who's into cosplay?

My wife was really into cosplay and con stuff, although she had largely dropped the hobby when we started dating.

Sometimes she says she would like to pick it up again, although she laments she doesn't have much time for it and that she thinks she's too old for that (I reassure her she's not), and although she doesn't go to cons anymore sometimes she does dress up just for funny selfie.

i am all up in the world of cosplay, as is my husband. there is no "too old". i can understand the barely going to cons anymore because honestly they have gotten a bit out of hand, in my opinion. but i'm sure if she went to one again and cosplayed, it'd make her happy again (not that she's unhappy, just happy to be back in that environment)

I think it is one of those things that has to be done extraordinarily well or not done at all. To carry it off the girl has to portray the personna well. That is far more difficult.

You could pick up a naughty nurse outfit from a sex shop and make your wife put it on but you'd just have your wife in a badly made cheap outfit who didn't have much inclination to check the pulse in your penis

Dragoncon is happening right now. I know 3 people there and at least 2 dressed up (one as Toad from Mario). They had a Deadpool parade last night there as I saw pictures. The 2 girls I know there are in their early 30s. One stays in a hotel room with a bunch of other people every year. It is a fun time. I have been about 3-4 times and it is fun. They say it get a bit sexy wild at night there. I have never gone in costume though.
