What’s the reason behind the irritability of Western people?

So I’m not saying others aren’t rude/mean but those with European ancestry have very few reasons to be annoyed.

1. You are considered as the most good-looking all over the world. You just have to be fit and clean. I am sure you know this doesn’t apply to all others.

What’s the reason behind the irritability of Western people?

2. Your cities tend to be better with more facilities and better infrastructure

3. Your parents usually don’t beat or control you. They create beautiful memories.

4. Your partners tend to be your type usually because you can basically date anyone. Your dating pool is bigger.

5. You generally have enough resources to enjoy life.

6. No one forces you to have a career you don’t like. You don’t HAVE to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer etc.

7. You are not forced to marry or stay with someone you don’t like by your parents or society. You stay with the ones you truly love.

So why is it hard for you to be nice and in a good mood? Is there something I don’t know? I’d be more than happy to have all those things.

I think it has a lot to do with most western people are middle class we are the tax paying people that run the country are pay for the country to be ran and we would like it to be ran the way it should be ran instead of us being taken advantage of

I think most of us are leaders and we know right from wrong and we see the people that we vote for doing us wrong doing our country wrong

And it pisses us off because we watch how our government acts and how members of government use each other and get bought and sold to make something happen for big businesses and they're not paying anything it's we the little people that are paying everything

And then when our country helps other countries it's one thing

But when they go over and beyond and give up our governments of the United States money to where it cannot take care of its own people that's getting out of control

When we watch people running for the United States presidency the highest office and they act like 5-year-olds or they can't remember the last time they took a s*** or a piss it's an embarrassment what are we doing

When you vote for somebody you want them to represent you as a person as a human being for your best interest not talk like a 5 year old bully are not just ramble and make no sense whatsoever and we all know we are allowing this to happen and we're getting fed up with it we are tired and we have been tired of it

And when prices of food have tripled and tripled and tripled for no reason whatsoever
And your gas prices have doubled and it seems like all you do is work for our government to give away our money that we are not going to ever get back it pisses us off it makes us angry and it needs to change
It's almost as if the American people need to become a union to have somebody else represent us as a negotiate table so we know that we're going to get our money that we put in to the system back out with food prices need to go lower gas prices need to go lower a different alternative fuel system needs to be invented which we have them already in place it's just that our government will not allow then to start marketing that product because they're tied in with the petroleum business so deep because they have been bought and sold so many times and we know all of this all of us do but we can't do anything about it I think we need to become a union we need to form a union because our government is not have our best interest anymore it hasn't for many many years and it's destroying the United States of America and the people in it and the kids in it and their grandkids in it and they don't care it's all greed you would think they would think about their kids or somebody's kids and not allow it to happen but they make too much money to be whistleblowers and that just really sucks as them being a human being that really totally sucks

In a perfect world, there are a lot of opportunities here. But it tends to be more complicated than what you laid out. For example, a larger dating pool means more options, but it also means our pool of options has more options, too. People can swipe to infinity if they so choose, and never look at relationships realistically.

But to answer your question, in Western countries, we tend to be less family-oriented and more career and success-driven. There's a nod to having a family, but here it's more about what you accomplish, and what your family has accomplished. The result is that our identity is wrapped up in our performance rather than who we are. That means that one slip, one bad decision, one mistake, and our whole carefully constructed image comes crashing down. In a more family-based culture, we can screw up all the time (barring the fundamentals) and we are still accepted, loved, guided and supported. I don't think that's all of it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a contributing factor. Just a possibility...

First of all they are not irritable Switzerland has been in the happiest countries in the world for like as long as I can remember. I think the lowest place in the ranking in the last 30 years has been like 7th in the world. But secondly you're looking at people as a group when they're all individuals. The standards of what's considered a successful life are defined by your surroundings just like the standard of what's considered an attractive person to date. If you're surrounded by white people being white does not give you an advantage in life that you can feel. You are competing against other people who grew up in the same place as you had the same education and look the same as you, so where are you getting all these advantages from?

Where I work there's a girl who got sexually abused by her father she's traumatize beyond imagination, right now she's in the process of convicting her own father of his crimes which is probably one of the most difficult things you could do. She self harms in a very brutal way. But I'm sure she's so happy that she's white.

This is just one example but there are many stories like this.

It just sounds like you want to have the right to have the right to blame all your problems on external factors and cope while being envious of other people. You should focus more on your own mental issues instead of thinking about what other people have. I don't think you understand how life is from someone elses perspective at all you just see your own insecurities and that shapes your perception of the whole world.

I've heard all Asian people always make sweeping assumptions about white people. Did that feel appropriate? How can you say that? I don't think you've spent much time with Caucasian people, or you're unlucky enough to find a bad batch.

Also, calling Caucasian peoples the best looking is just a matter of opinion. I happen to prefer Asian people, even though I am Caucasian.

You might have a point about infrastructure, but the economic momentum has been with Asia for decades now. The gap is narrowing.

The cultural stuff, well that took a lot of tension and conflict within our societies to achieve. If you don't like the way your culture works, get out there and fight for something better. Women fought for the right to vote, they fought for the right to work, they fought for the right to be equal. They're still fighting! None of this was achieved by whining or being submissive.

Western society used to be just as bad or worse than Asian society, but change came slowly. Maybe that is part of the irritability you see. Americans especially will loudly proclaim their rights and loudly point out when they are being infringed upon. That is because they fought to create the free society they have today. Just remember, they were a slave holding society before the civil war. They fought a bloody civil war to change their society for the better! America led the way and showed the world what freedom is all about, but it wasn't given to them. They made their society themselves.

All western countries began as repressive backward societies, but all the progressive ones changed themselves. America is just one example.

Easy living does that to people. But also, if you're only talking about whites, they get shit on constantly as a race so they probably get anxiety about that. And many of them are self-hating, so that doesn't help. In the US, they're the only race with an out-group bias, on average.

But, in the end, having it too easy is the main culprit. Plus, most Western cities are trash these days. Maybe the really homogeneous ones are still nice, but most major US, UK and FR cities are crime-filled shit holes now.

This is a really good question, but I think the answer lies in your description of why we SHOULDN'T be irritable.

We have so many things handed to us and in this day in age we are used to getting what we want instantly so much that waiting the least bit makes us boil over.

We are like spoiled children essentially. People who grow up without all of these things you described usually end up having stronger character and more patience because they have a deeper insight on what it means to struggle.

The West is full of obnoxious brats that don't know how to deal with not having their way.
